An introduction.....sort of.

Um.....hi...This seems like a pretty cool site with knowledgable people and productive discussion, so I decided to join.....and here I am. About me? Just take a quick glance at my profile. If curiosity still pervades, then I will be happy to answer any and all inquiries (As you can plainly see, I suck at introductions).

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I work security in a national park. My hobbies include writing short stories and poetry, drawing and sculpting, hiking, and going on paranormal investigations.

2. Where are you from?
Washington, DC

3. Who is your favorite author?
H.P. Lovecraft

4. What are your favorite films?
Edward Scissorhands because I can relate to him on a personal level, Beetlejuice because I loved the cartoon and thought the movie was really fun, and the Clerks movies because a little cheap humor is good every once and awhile

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Doesn't really matter, I guess some Tristania would fit the mood

6. At your funeral?
See number 5

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Nuclear holocaust

8. What kind of casket would you want?
I don't plan on anything being left to put in a casket, but just in case, an old classic

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Plain blue jeans and a black t-shirt. I know that it is not "goth", but it is not my goal to fit a particular image

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
No bills

11. What's your favorite band?
Sirenia

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
Bachelor of Science; Philosophy

13. Why did you join?
Seems like a really cool site with lots of interesting discussion

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
I'm a dude

lol, I was alluding to the fact that he is so awkward and out of place among the masses. I think we all can relate to him on some level.

No, unfortunately I have never been able to attend because something would conveniently come up at the most inopportune moment. I've been to the Black Cat several times and they get some decent bands in there.
