Trying not to panic - fuck I hate flying. I don't care about the plane falling out of the sky - I hate being stuck in a sardine tin with 300 other people.

Clastrophobic - you betcha. Even on the A380 I feel it.

Extremely hungover. I played liars dice all night with shots of vodka, jagermeister, and rum. I won though...I beat everyone to the GROUND.

Went jogging earlier, so now sitting here at work with nothing to do isn't so bad.

Ugh, hungover as fuck. Went to the halloween hardcore punk show, got really drunk, went to a small afterparty, and smoked a blunt, then an unknown quantity of bong, intersperced with shots of rum. Fuck my gut is rotten, I gotta stop drinking Old English.

I'm kind of nervous about this hair dye that I just bought. I couldn't find my usual semi-permanent stuff, so I bought a "28-shampoo" type from Clairol. I don't know how permanent it's going to be...

My mother and I are the only vegetarians in the house. We also are the ones who put meals together. It always makes us laugh when we realize we keep forgetting there are four meat-eaters in the house, thus, last minute running to a store for beef, chicken, ham, and so on. I miss the summer. It is too cold for gardening now (

Honestly, I'm feeling really depressed. This happens every now and again, but it usually gets really bad at Halloween and Christmas. It's not that Halloween depresses me, it's quite the opposite. I love Halloween but I've never been able to enjoy it because my friends don't really share my tastes and I haven't met anyone that does. So once again I'm alone, staring at a computer screen or TV, playing/watching anything to distract me from my despair. As for Christmas, I just fucking hate Christmas.

Hey if I was over there Garethsteen, I'd be banging on your bedroom door telling you to snap out of it, go for a walk, look at the beautiful world we live in and screw whatever it is that makes you feel so glum around Halloween and Christmas.

Then I'd give you a big hug and take you for a walk. We could have a deep and meaningful discussion about whether jam or marmalade is better on toast and whether it is best to have hard toast or soft toast (you know when you put the butter on when the toast is still warm). Oh and butter is always better than margarine.

So why do you hate Christmas?

I don't think I would consider them friends but I do not know the bonds you have with these people, therefore, I cannot judge.
However, I have a friend who lives with my family and I. Whenever I am depressed or angry, she asks once what is wrong and when I tell her (or don't tell her) she figures it out. She knows already, from past conversations that we've had, how I loathe people trying to cheer me up when I am upset. Also, she knows that when I am depressed that I need to stay that way and not be told to be happy. I cannot be happy all the time. If that were true, my life would be completely unbalanced. Plus, sometimes I enjoy the feelings of anger or depression because it brings many thoughts up that I usually don't consider giving any thought.
But I am not the kind to whine and say "I'm going to slit my wrists, wahhh!"
I detest the attention-whore emo style. Meh....

Quoted for truth. And I love friends like those.

Also: "Only through suffering are certain truths revealed. Both of the galaxy, and of the self."

Extra credit for whoever knows where that paraphrased quote is from.

I'm feeling flu-ish. This is the second Halloween in a row on which I've had fever/chills/violent shaking/nausea. I'm only going to work for half the day.

I am sad. My parents have left the area and are driving back to their home in California =( We have a bunch of family drama bull shit being pulled and I feel like we should still be close, to hang through it and help each other. It seems easier to do that face to face.
