I am a student studying Horse Management. Not typically Goth but Gothicism is about being an Individual so thats what I am.
I ride horses in my spare time, and love parties.
Would love to hear from anyone, especially those in my area (norfolk, England).

3. Who is your favorite author?
Steven King or Patricia Cornwall

4. What are your favorite films?
Rocky Horror
Romeo and Juliet
(Not really a film person)

Guns and Roses
Manson

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?

A Big black one with Purple velvet lining

My black Lacey (sp?) Corset dress with suspenders and boots

The sweets and things that they stopped making

Evanescence

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
High School, National Diploma in Horse Management, Dont have a Major

Please don't be scared off by what is said next I'm just tyring to help. Gothicism is about art, the goth subculture is the correct reference. Evanescence and Manson just arn't goth (I have no idea what Genre Evanescence is and Manson has insulted one of the fathers of goth so don't say that he is either), we are going to have to introduce you to some real goth music and this section of our forums will be able to help https://www.gothic.net/boards/showthread.php?t=5866. Untill then you might want to downplay the calling yourself a goth thing because there is the basic requirement of listening to gothic music. But anyways Welcome.

She didn't actually call Manson or Evanescence goth, but as for herself...can't tell...she might have meant she's an individual.
She could very well be gothtastic, her favorite music just isn't.

I too think evanescence is great. She only had to say her favourite band, she probably listens to other things too.

I personally like Evanescence and don't mind Manson so I have no trouble with you liking them. But I would suggest that you try some good goth music. You might like The Dresden Dolls or Rasputina if you're inclined to like female vocals...

I love Manson =p He's shock rock, not goth, but his music is still great I don't see what many people have against him... Evanescence is... ok... it just doesn't do it for me =p like compared to nightwish, Leave's eyes, Sirenia... etc...
