Thanks Al! I love pics like that. Those on top of the roller coaster are especially great, with the mist in them.

My grandma's house has become creepy eveer since she died. Someone lives there now, but they don't take care of the flowers or the yard like she did, and they obviously aren't Hungarian, because her house always used to smell like Goulash, or cabbage, or bread, or whatever else she was making.
Anywho... I'd like to live in that amusement park. That reminds me of "Spirited Away" :P

Jane13: Are you grandparents Hungarian? Because my grandmother and grandparents were Hungarian which makes me a quarter Hungarian!! Yay!! I feel special.
Anyways, very pretty pictures. I wonder what it would look like at night.

I'm a quarter, too! I have cousins that came to America during the democratic uprising, and my violin teacher and her husband come from Hungary. Aparantly I have a cousin in Budapest that my great Aunt and Grandmother wrote to all the time, but both have passed away. For that reason, I'd like to learn the language.
Which movie, Wolfmoon?

The fog definitely helps with the creepiness factor but without it I think the place would look more sad than anything. The barren playland.

that is really wicked. i love to go to places like that becuase like, it's eerie and pretty at teh same time. there was once an old park in a gravyard type dealie in a bush on the far crappy side of town i used to go to. nobody really remembered it was there and we'd go there and make up stories about like, the poeple who made the park adn stuff and then we'd put flowers we picked (mostly dandelions) on teh grtaves. then like, they decided to move the graves ot the *real* grave yard and so they dug up our park but yeah... it was really special.

After my classes today, I went down to the old grave yard near me and spent the hour reading and walking around looking at the old head stones. They were mostly from the mid 1800's to the very early 1900's.
There were some children burried there, sad. But all in all it was winderful to be out there. It was peasefull and relaxing. I will go again tomorow and snap a few pictures. I will post some here around the same time. I don't know when they stoped berrying people there.
