Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL.

Gothic backing Tracks

Okay, for part of my course we have to learn how to sing as part of learning how to audition. I can't really sing terribly well as I was never taught to but I've got a damn good ear and I'm slowly starting to self teach myself.

Then, our mostly absent singing teacher tells us we have to come up over the next 3 weeks with a personal song of our own AND a backing track. The latter is proving nearly impossible for me to find, and I was wondering if anyone knows if any are out there. My first choice was "Vampire Club" by Voltaire as his range is perfect for me, but needless to say, I couldn't find it.

Google is failing me miserably. Any hints or suggestion would be greatly appreciative.

Already I'm trying to learn the song "Drive" by Incubus, but that backing track was provided by the tutor and now I'm feeling quite like a fish out of water.

/au secours!

I was hoping to rise above The Cure, but if that's all I can find, it's all I'll do. I was thinking Voltaire/Cruxshadows/Sisters/Who knows what.
