A feast for the eyes and the mind.

Dispatched by a golden shower? Please do elaborate with spoilers if you can about the plot even moreso, seeing as some foreigners will never have the chance to go and see it.

Wow, I couldn't get passed the first paragraph due to the horrible sentence structure.

"relative and relatively" should enver be used together in a sentence

"suffice tyo say, simply keep in mind" is just redundant.

Good review but I winced when you used the word "ensue". This word is dead and I've never seen it used outside of a book/movie/play review. It's become a special word reserved for critics and 9 times out of 10 it is preceded by "hilarity".

I use it. Then again, I treat the world like my own personal test-screen, so maybe that accounts for it.

Yo, Gothicus, this is showing every Sat this month, right?

I use ensue quite often as well. I just think MIR5 has seen it used in a cliche'd manner a few too many times.

But yeah, show runs every sat in feb, so there's three performances left.

Digging it, Desp. Thanks a lot. One small qualm: you accidentally credited Michael Donaldson (Renfield) as Harker-- that's Eric Williams.
Another smaller qualm: you spelled my name wrong. It's "Molloy". If you can change that, you should, but if you can't, Eric and I will probably live.

Although I assume everyone is blabbing my dramaturgical secrets to their bros already, in this case I've been asked permission, so I'll request that you not delineate the plot for Corpsey on the forum proper. Tragically enough, a google search for "Ghost of Dracula" does yield this forum on a lower-numbered page than I'd like. PM, however, is fine by me.

We're every Saturday this month at least. The massive turn out and beer sales for opening night have us considering a longer run.

That's pretty damned cool! Hope the subsequent shows pull even more box office (and suds) sales. Wish I lived anywhere near the area; this definitely sounds like one of the better ways to spend a Saturday night that I've heard of in a while.

Yeah, I noticed I'd misspelled your last name about an hour ago, I fixed that, thanks for pointing out the Eric/Donaldson oversight. It's been corrected.

A PM entailing the overall story-line. would be wonderful. I wish your show the best of luck for the next few weeks. Tell me Gothicus, is this your first public show or have you made some other shows in the past?

Goddamn. Gothicus really is cool, like in real life. For reals, and not just online.
Wow. Imagine the possibilities.

The difference is my mistakes aren't mistakes, my writing is just too advanced for your tiny mind. The repetion of relative and relatively was done intentionally as an artistic choice following the rule of 3.

My G/F is an editor, with a degree in writing composition, she checked over that paragraph, there's nothing wrong with the structure. I am an award winning playwright with a BA in Theatre and a minor in English. I've apprenticed under the state poet laureate of Kentucky, and yes, I do get paid a bit to write.

You're some guy who mangles the English language while ignorantly spouting off made up "rules" about sentence structure which you clearly do not understand.

I love this about you. Laughing at your antics really brightens up my day.

If you do extend it, I may come again.

Honestly, despite the problems with the sound, I thought it was fantastic. It was unconventional and fun for both morons and clever folk.

Can you say that again? Slowly, and in a slightly husky rasp that kinda makes your chest heave?

That review makes me really want to see this show o.o It sounds fucking awesome!
Unfortunately, I would have to travel halfway across the world to see it, and being 20, my budget does not allow for such journeys in the near future I am afraid.
I must simply hope that gothicus will become world famous so that it will run for 50 years.
