Does not talking about a problem, or for that matter belittling it, make the problem walk away?
Or does it just seem that way since the people walk away, taking their problem with them?

Cutting might seem funny, and fashionable, and silly. I know. Finding ones girlfriend bleeding in a corner, on the other hand, really isn't.

I don't get cutting. Mostly because there's less painful methods to deal with life, including suicide (in terms of your death method).

Besides, most people don't go 'down the road'. They wanna be all hardcore darkness and only 'cross the street'. Anyone worth the endowment from Lucifer himself would have did it correctly the first time.

Probably a troll, but this is something I'm learning too kids- being 'alternative' is not an excuse to act like a social retard. One actually has to work harder than the 'normies' to prove oneself in the world, because you're proclaimed yourself different.

Um...yeah even most people who would never cut understand that cutting isn't repeated failed suicide attempts. Cutting is most frequently A) a cry for help B) a plea for attention or C) a release of endorphins that some people find desirable.

Come on .
Don't tell me that if people are cutting themselves for the reason c you just wrote in your comment ,they are not sick as fuck!
You got to at least admit that they are in the wrong and knowledge their actions for what they are and see the true meaning behind it.
I personally think that cutting yourself is a sign of weakness and cowardice .

If you can't understand ,i can't do nothing for you.
I was referring to those dick who don't have a life, who have too many problems and try to kill themselves or cut themselves.

ART, you'll find that creature6 frequently makes unintelligible statements, then claims it's the readers fault that they can't understand her and she can't be bothered with the reader if the reader doesn't get it.

In other words, typical TROLL behavior.

I really wouldn't invest any time or energy in trying to engage her in a conversation. I've made that mistake in the recent past. She is just wretchedly committed to yanking people's chains, and is horridly transparent about it.

Ah, but those are rarely found in category c. Masochists are. Have much experience with people who cut themselves? Or that are masochists? Or that fall in both categories?

Thank you, Ben. You are, as you are indeed very frequently it seems, right.
Just using her to bounce my info on cutting on so it won't seem so much as an inane rant on my part.

ART, I certainly understand THAT. I have little sympathy or understanding for cutters, but the ones who post comments on the internet about how they can't help cutting used to just annoy me with their need for attention. Fortunately, I am now serenely sanguine with telling them, "Hey buddy, just keep on cutting. I'm going to go read a good book."

I didn't. That's just a typical attempt on Catch's part to be funny, and I only laughed at it the first 5 times.
