Even when in public, I chatter animatedly with my children. I frequently chant little rhymes to amuse them, dance them around, sing, make rasberries on their feet. I don't care if people give us looks or decide that I'm lame. I have fun with the little'uns.

*Sigh* Me too. I would never wear any of it, but I just love reading fashion magazines and I'll watch the Oscars just to see what people are wearing. I even use the word 'couture' on a regular basis.
(I even own the first two seasons of Project Runway on DVD, that's how lamely obsessed I am >_<)

I don't like Alien Sex Fiend and Skinny Puppy. *dodges flying objects* No, seriously, they're waaay too industrial for me.

I have listened to many A.S.F. songs that seriously don't arouse my fancy. Except for "EST (Trip To The Moon)." That songs kicks my ass.
I also don't like Love and Rockets and Jesus and Mary Chain which all these goths seem to rave over.

I don't like a lot of goth music. And I recently have stopped writing and stuff, because... I have yet to really figure that out.

UNgoth? About me?
Hmmmmm...well following the media stereotype then:
I DO laugh and am very emmotional.
I DO NOT want to kill everybody.
Eh...and I listen to Metal.
But otherwise I am the perfect cliché. I wear black, I like dark depressive things, I am pale, wear dark make up, spikes, listen to goth music (among many other genres), am rather introvert, I write, I paint....Hm. Damn I hate being so predictable.

Well, it seems like we'll get along just fine. Besides Goth music, I also listen to Metal, especially Gothic Metal. (And yes, I DO know the difference between Gothic and Gothic Metal, thank you very much!)

yes, try explaining to someone that gothic metal is not goth....
I actually have a very strange music taste with pretty much anything mixed up in it. For example right now I discovered the 69 eyes, Johnyy hollow and Tristania. Just a while ago I had a major cradle of filth phase.
As long as people accept that goths listen to more than just goth music I'm content. Isn't it part of the gothic culture to be openminded and experimental?

I'm currently wearing a Socal brand shirt and hat. That's more "Bro" than "Goth."

Quite a lot to be honest, I'm one of those dark-at-heart types. For example:
* I don't actually listen to a lot of Goth music, though my tendency is towards music with a dark subtext. And 70's music - especially glam and prog rock.
* I dress rather plainly by most people's standards - plain black bootcut jeans, plain black vests or t-shirts. My hair is it's natural colour (except when I henna it dark red) and is shoulder length and uninteresting.
* I don't go to Goth clubs - predominantly because there isn't any that I'm aware of in Liverpool. There are metal pubs and rock clubs but nothing for the old fashioned Goths.
* I'm incredibly and worryingly hyperactive about 70% of the time.
Hello all. I have made a proper introduction, but I'm adding this for quick reference to all of my posts for the time being: Hello, my name is Laura and I'm new here

I laugh and smile a lot, I'm nice to people (when I'm not ultra-introvertedly avoiding them), I don't dress in black every day, I don't really like boots, I listen to just about every genre of music if there's something in it that appeals to me (including, god forbid, hip-hop). *ducks and covers*
Also, I'm not pale-skinned, if that counts...

Hmm, I laugh A LOT...My hair's not really that interesting at the moment, until tomorrow I guess. Umm, I'm kind of emotional, and listen to everything including pop and 70s, 80s, japanese metal. Heh, I do wear Tripp pants because of my lack of cash and knowledge of where to get cool neat pants.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves the big earing's, lol. Especially vintage ones. some of the ones they have in stores now are nice, but I do like the vintage styles a little more. ( Nothing too 80's though)

I love watching Danny Phantom episodes and music videos, and have even drawn a picture of Sam Manson.
