Drinking at least 1,5 litres of water per day also helps.
Try to eat 5 times per day. Don't eat too much at lunch and at dinner, and choose light food. Avoid sauces (sp?) like ketchup and stuff. For chocolate fans, chocolate for diabetic doesn't have sugar and it's tastefull, but be careful still. Eat fish more often than meat. And don't forget the water! It helps dissolving the fat of your body.
Hope my tips are usefull...

Water is good for so many reasons. Also, try to go for foods that are less processed, like whole wheat bread instead of white, cuts of meat instead of sausages or hamburgers, etc. It might not help your weight a lot, but it is healthier.
The aim of any diet should be health, not lack of calories/carbs/fat/whatever.

yeah but she wants to gain weight which I know can be really hard, hell for some peope it can be hard to simply maintain weight so sometimes calories are something that you need to look at...just never eat empty calories

I generally have a peanut butter sandwich or an english muffin with peanutbutter (mmmmmmm sooo good....) for lunch, but on weekends I'll have a couple pancakes or waffles.
When you say eat 5 times a day, do you mean 3 meals and two snacks, or what?
*note* My mom's a dietician, but she wants me to stay the weight I am, and I think she knows how to make that happen... *looks around suspiciously* Or am I just being paranoid?

I mean eat at least three good sized meals and two substantial snacks (energy bar, bagel with cream cheese, smoothie, etc.) but a few smaller snacks (fruit, yogurt, things like that) would also be a good idea

my favorite late morning pick me up is hot coco and biscotti, I get it around 11 just about every day and while it may not be the best thing for me it really isn't all that bad and it adds a bunch of calories without filling me up too much to eat lunch an hour and a half or so later

Huh. In highschool I was in DeMolay and dated the Rainbow and Bethal girls cause my highschool was full of hood rats. Yes I dated a blonde cheerleader, but only for a week. I left her for Jaime (a GIRL dickheads!) who had "the eye thing".

My height is one of the two things that bothers me the most. I'm your average tall scrawny guy. 6'3" and a 140lbs soaking wet with change in my pockets and carrying a backpack full of bricks.
I eat right, I try to stay in shape...I just have a metabolism that can chew through sheet metal. And being horribly thin isn't so bad, but when you throw in tall on top of it and you just end up looking like a scarecrow. Add into that, I have long limbs in comparison to my torso. I did a comparison, from shoulder to hip I'm exactly the same hight as my ex wife, who's 5'2", so I have a foot of hight on her that's all in the legs...and arms that come down to about mid thigh. I think lurpy is the term that get's thown at me the most.
My feet are another thing that bothers me. They're...well kinda big in my opinion. Now I'm not talking clow sized, but still rather large in the US size 14/13w department. Wouldn't be so bad if they weren't on the end of such spindly legs, I feel like I trip over them constantly.

arms are supposed to come down to about mid thigh so don't worry about it and as for your legs there's nothing wrong with long legs hell I'm 5'6 and have a 38" inseam, I used to feel kind of awkward but now I really like them, even though finding pants that fit right can be a bitch

It's not about society, it's about finding affordable pants in a 30" waist and a 40" inseam.

If you are comfortable with yourself that's all that matters,
If you hate your appearance do whatever it take to improve yourself. As long as it's healthy! I really stay on top of my physical activities and excersize. And it makes me feel awesome in the process!

Big feet because you're tall. Otherwise you would keep falling over. *sage nod*
Bet you're cute, though. I have a thing for tall wiry guys (says the tall fat girl dating a short medium build boy).

Got a new thing to hate about myself- my hair. I'm trying to grow it out to at least my shoulders, having realized that I have entirely the wrong facial shape for short hair (it makes my face look fat). The problem is, the ends of my hair do this obnoxious outward flip upwards, like little wings or something. People say it's cute, but I hate it! I think it makes me look like I'm 13 or something!

I've got the same issue. But my brother once imparted upon me a very very important lesson.
There's nothing that a couple can's of Aqua Net can't fix....it's like the Macguiver of hair products.
