There's a sticky with questions if you aren't sure what to say.

Technically that would be a reference to Pasolini rather than Sade as it's in the movie title and not the book title.

I refuse to go through the pain of plucking my 'stache only to adhere to an obsolete and oppresive beauty standard. It's not as impressive as the one pictured above though.

Also, don't feel bad because you only saw the movie, I haven't read the book myself either.

Um, what's douchey about pointing that out? It's not like she was being an arsehole about it.

Welcome, and chill.

Well since your response was witty and gracious - I will let this one go. And I read your site intro which , admittedly, wasn't so douchey at all.

You are quite ok.
My apologies.

No apology necessary. It was meant as an observation, albeit a somewhat pretentious one, not to have a go at you.

I debated whether or not to post to be honest, but this is g.net after all and deep down we're all a bunch of pretentious fucks.

With that out of the way, this thread is now officially about Salo the movie.

I saw it once but sadly when I was too young to fully appreciate its brilliance. I should watch it again but I don't think I can stomach it.
