As you wish. You close your eyes and realize they have no desire to stay shut. Your body feels perpetually invigorated, refreshed. At first it's strange but you become used to the waking life. Sadly the constant energy leaves you restless and in a futile endeavour to ease your slowly maddening mind you take to the streets and wander around listlessly, desperately searching for something that may ease your troubled mind. The more you search, the less you find, until eventually you are driven mad with frustration and become trapped in a life of soulless wandering, a mere shadow of the person you used to be...

I wish I had my very own spaceship.

Granted, you find a spaceship lying around in your backyard one day. You just don't see that it is from NASA since you were so caught up with the excitement. Later that day come along the NASA scientists and find out where their lost spaceship it, locating it in your backyard. So yeah, they come to pick it up afterwards leaving you spaceshipless.

I wish I could go to New Zealand.

Granted. You get an airline ticket to New Zealand from an anonymous sender. You fly there and when you get off the plane you find that you're actually in a war-torn part of Africa called 'Niyew Zilanda' and are promptly attacked by a savage tribe of cannibals and taken hostage to be turned to stew the following night.
