Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Mihai Edrisch - Les Arbres
The last track on this French band's "L'un Sans L'autre" album. An acoustic number with a field recording of children playing in the background, unlike the rest of the record, which is abrasive and technical, but still melodic screamo/post-hardcore at its finest.

Use a slash like so: [b]...[ /b]. But without the space.

Heh... I know. I forgot, though. I have been at anti-technology camp for a week.

Me too, I grew up on good stuff like Twisted Sister, back in a time period known as the 80`s (I miss the 80`s).
What am I listening (well watching on video on a decrepid MTV compilation I made aeons ago) to...
Type O Negative `Black No.1` (its the shorter version, not the full length version as on the album, does anyone know if there was a version of that video for the full length song?).

Probably not, although there is an unrated video of 'Christian Woman' on the After Dark video!

I use a certain online radio source which *isn't* iMusic, and it has a genre collection of music under 'goth' that is limited but full of good stuff. Currently sending me IKON, Subversion III

Cut City - The Postcard
Nice post-punk band of present day non-fame. Yet. Not entirely unlike Interpol, so although they're a bit late to the game, they might still make it. A lot better than The Bravery, anyway.
