My new boyfriend is so awesome! He introduced me to SLIPKNOT which is like my current favourite rock band. His favourite song by them is "I AM HATED" and I enjoy listening to "PURITY" and "*****". What's your favourite SLIPKNOT song?

Saw Slipknot at the Fury Fest years ago, the crowd was throwing stones, bottles of piss and even a dead rabbit at them. And they indeed deserved this. They went on with their 45 minutes show like everything was normal... But they didn't come back for the encore.

I assume they put the name in stars because Gothic.net doesn't want to come up on google searches when someone types in that word. Much is the same with p - e-d.o philia, lo-lita (which makes it hard to discuss Nabokov's most famous work) and things of that nature.

As for Slipknot, I think they get undeserved ire. They're a rather talented metal band that does, on occasion, blend in some hip hop elements through sampling and scratching. They may not be to your liking, and that's fine, but saying they are bad musicians is a bit much.

Their fans are assholes of the highest order, that I'll grant you.

'The Nameless'. I find it to be a really emotionally powerful song every time I listen to it. 'No Life' was good, too.

Man, Slipknot's really not that bad. They've done some pretty creative things. The real question is,

I gotta say, it makes me respect them a little for finishing their set, I mean, it's no Andrew WK at the Gathering of the Juggalos, but at least it shows commitment. Then again, how scared can you be of piss when your head is protected by dozens of large nails sticking outwards.

Uh hardly, the band are contracted to turn up and play, not to stand around until their skulls are fractured. When you start getting rocks thrown at you I'm pretty sure you're entitled to leave the stage and have done your part.
