Opal Dreams

This is a story about a little girl with two imaginary friends. It takes place in the Australian Outback, where her father is mining for Opal.
It's a wonderful drama. I loved the movie. Here's a review if anyone would like to see it:http://www.spiritualityandpractice.c...s.php?id=16273

The movie adaption of Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four, the one with Richard Burton. Quite good, captures most of the book.

Why was goth forever in black?
My Hitler account got banned.
And I wasn't pretending, I just thought all the other Hitler accounts were ghey.

The Hills Have Eyes (the remake).

The first movie that ever came close to disturbing me.

The other day I watched The Hitcher and The Messengers. Neither were all that bad, but they were not particularly impressive either.

The Wall. It still kicks boatloads of artistic ass, even today.

Pan's Labyrinth.

It was good. Brutal, but good.
I love it.

That was so totally not what the previews made it out to be- but was easily the best film I've seen in years. I loved the cinematography.

Just caught 1408 in the theatre. Not too shabby for a Stephen King flick. John Cusack makes everything better.

I want to see that, actually. And my interest isn't typically piqued by horror movies.

It was surprisingly good. A few cheap scares, of course, but there is a solid psychological edge and one point that had me so choked I could barely swallow my Slurpee that were worth wading through the Schlock King.

And John Cusack is always a good bet.
