Good call. It's his best non-fiction IMO.

Well, I got The Outsider, The Myth Of Sisyphus and The Rebel out from the library and I've already read The Outsider, which is fantastic, and decided because it was late I'd start on Myth of Sisyphus because it's shorter. It's certainly interesting so far, is it better than The Rebel?

I think so. The Rebel is awesome, but I find Sisyphus so much more relevant to the individual. The conclusion is one most people have already reached, otherwise they would'vekilled themselves already, but it's beautifully argued. Also, Camus' whole documentation of the absurd is fucking beautiful.

Wait, wait, hold up a minute.

I just realized something. She compared us mocking her fetish to homophobia.

Uh...maybe I missed something, but I was under the impression that sexual orientation and sexual fetish were two very different things.

Am I just a silly rabbit, or is this excuse for wannabe-persecuted?

They are both an attack on minority groups. Both are attracted to the "unconventional" by society's means. A mature person wouldn't slag someone off for what they're attracted to.

They're not slagging you off for being attracted to it, they're slagging you off for the talking about it way too much.
If a lesbian came up and started talking and talking about how much she just LOVE girls, I'd probably have a couple of things to say to her.

Yeah, I seem to remember a member mentioning in practically every post about how bi they were, though I can't recall who. And then someone else making a thread about how they wanted a hot, tight, goth chick with perky boobs. Which one were you referring too?

Yeah, pretty much anyone who advertises the hell out of their sexuality, be it straight, gay, bi, furry, or esoteric fetishist, is pretty damn annoying.

The fetish thread wasn't such a big deal, it's mostly her user title and avatar that makes me think she's an exhibitionist worthy of ridicule.

User title, avatar, and constant statements. As I believe MollyMac and/or Ophelia were saying, bed-wetter in denial.

You know, it just occured to me yesterday what was going on in her avatar?
