This is true. It would be obvious to him that I'm not the same person who has been visiting Poe's grave all these years. If I lived in that part of the country, though, I would probably pay my respects in a somewhat different manner anyway, so it wouldn't matter, to me if to no one else.

That 200th anniversary celebration theory is very possible. Interesting to read that people would wait to grab a glimpse of the "Poe Toaster" I would let it be. It's best to keep it as a mystery. It makes the whole thing spooky too.

I remember reading one comment saying "maybe drinking half the bottle of cognac this year before heading to the cemetery wasn't the greatest idea after all."
