You tuck the ends into the tube to prevent the crin from fraying.

Ah easy enough, I thought I had to melt the ends with something else.
I took a small 1" piece to do a test with a lighter.....fwoosh, the bugger just flared up and gone. Eek, my bad.
I'm actually thinking of ordering some more of the crin tubes myself, this stuff is amazing!
I was browsing through the products in I Kick Shins, impressive selection and prices. I looked at some of the others online suppliers as well, do you recommend them at all?

My hair's boring. It's kind of long, down to my shoulder blades, and brown. I might dye the ends purple or blue, because they INSIST on staying blonde. I don't know why, but parts of my hair absolutely reject hair color

Thank you much DG. It was actually pretty easy to make, it just took a bit of time because I did a crap load of research and referencing while making them to make sure I got them just right. Needed a lot of bobby pins too since I don't have a lot of hair anymore to anchor them to.
I am interested in making more now that I've received the green light in appearances.

Whoo Hoo!! I just ordered 6 (5 yard) bags of cyberlox crin tubes from I Kick Shins and was a total of $48 CND. I can't wait to get them and so I can get started.
Saddiction, did your orders take about 10 days roughly to arrive?
(BTW, it was good to see you and your bf at Chimera)
In case you are wondering what colors I asked for, I picked:
Gunmetal Metallic
Black/Purple Metallic Stripe
Purple Metallic
Black Metallic
Blue/Silver Swirl Metallic
Neon Green

Wow DG, you're really enthusiastic about this new look. My suggestion would be to use caution when using tubular crin. In my past observations it doesn't always look good on men. I find that it's more suitable on females, and only some females can actually pull it off. I've seen some crin creations that look absolutely rediculous. Just giving you the heads up.
I can't recall how long it takes to recieve orders from ikickshins, but it's pretty reasonable. I've had no complaints, other than the Metallic Black being all messed up.
PS. I had a shitty time at Chimera. My bf and I were fighting hence the lack of interest in communicating with others.

I've been around, just not as much. I was out of town on a business trip, and then my bf was visiting for a week. I've also been dealing with issues between my cats. They're stressin me out! I needed an internet break anyways
Hope all is well.

Thanks Saddi. Sorry to hear you're having a strefful time. It won't last forever.
You have to show us pic DG of your finished crin creations!
I've been interested in placing an order with IKickShins for some crin tubing, but am just a bit wary after the trouble I've just had with JadedDreads.
The buggers were initially slow to respond to my query about my order, then when they finally reply, they inform me that I'll have to pay an additional $14 to have my order overnighted. Nevermind the fact that they neglected to inform me of a glitch that they have between paypal and their site! Assholes! So I begrudgingly shelled out the additional $14 and am expecting them to arrive either today or tomorrow. Lesson learned: NEVER buy from Jaded Dreads.

I have seen some pics of guys using the crin, somehow I don't think they put that much effort into it (one guy using only 6 tubes alone going down the back, oh brother). I'm sure you were impressed as well as the others with the foam falls at least (or am I wrong?).
What I plan to do is basically the same way with the foam but adding more of the crin to it or go 50/50 with both materials. I'm sure it's worth a try and I hope not to disappoint you either.

I think they said about 10 days, which is good enough for me and I can still get my next one finished before the next Chimera.

Oh whew, forgive me that I've been kinda jumpy since last week's assault incident and I didn't want to give the wrong impression.

Oops, sorry didn't mean to, just got inspired into the whole cyberfall look by you, Kontan and few others. Thanks for the compliment too.
Btw, I think our friend Johnny wants to do the same thing with the foam and crin, aren't we bad or what?

I don't mind him. Haven't spent much time talking with the guy, though the observation is that he's easy to influence.

I don't have the time/patience/interest to do full on cyberdreads and such, however I do like how they look on some people. I will forever associate the word cyber to Saddiction =)
