Right - make-up. God, I love it. There is not enough beauty in the world, and if you don't always have time to go seek it, you always have time to glance into reflective surfaces.
i do not have a self esteem issue.
i just gave my point of view that's all i did.
Then again each person is free to choose what they put on their face.
If they want to plaster their face with paint ,that's fine by me but too much is still too much.
when you over do something it's become laughable and look stupid most of the time.

I wore eyeshadow and eyeliner today for the first time in a very long time, eyeshadow I last wore maybe a year ago, last Halloween I think. Eyeliner I haven't worn in forever, maybe years. It makes my eyes look right lovely, just took too much time since I'm so out of practice.

But at least now I am fit to be seen.

Mine changes depending on how much time I have in the morning.
Usually just concealer and light powder, sometimes a bit of eyeshadow and mascara.
If I'm going out, I'll wear more, or if I'm really bored, I'll experiment.

Completely depends on my mood. Sometime, only if I'm wearing my glasses, I won't wear any make up at all. Sometimes it's just eyeliner, sometimes I add lipstick, sometimes I like to use crazy bright eyeshadows or layer on the blackest black I have :P But I never use concealer or anything like that on my face, partially because good brands are expensive, but mostly because I find it silly. Wearing a layer of stuff on my face to hid a pimple is just going to make my acne worse.

Routine: Wake up>Rinse face>Maybe put in contacts>Brush teeth>Make-up in no particular order>Hair

It depends on where I'm going- day to day I tend not to bother too much. If I'm going out in the evening then the normal 'works.'

I guess it depends on peoples perceptions- some people prefer the natual look and think make up looks horrible, and some like the made up look and think its trampy not to wear make up. I guess I am kind of in the middle and think wear what you like, and don't bother too much about what other are doing.

Theatrical make up can look very cool if its done well.

1) Wash face
2) A bit of Johnson's white face powder
3) Black eyeliner for my bottom eyelid
4) Retro red lipstick mixed with espresso brown lipstick to turn my lips into a dark reddish color

Takes about 5-10 minutes a day

I admit it, I'm a vain one much of the time. I love cosmetics! Have ever since i could dig them out of my mom and big sister's bathroom drawers!

For my general daily make up application I do:
foundation
now that I got a new one concealer + eye brightener
eyeliner
sometimes shadow
mascara
lipcolor

If the eye makeup is being cooperative I can get it all done in about 8 minutes. Haven't timed it though.

Some days, I put a thin line of black eyeliner pencil under my bottem eyelids. Most days, I just go out with a clean freshly scrubbed and shaved face.

When I'm going to work I don't wear any makeup. But every Thursday I go out to the bookstore, then to the movies and I treat my makeup routine just like I would treat any artistic routine. I go with what my muse tells me. If it tells me a dead ocean gypsy is calling to me, it's blue eyeshadow with turquoise rhinestones. If it tells me a full moon will shine on a lonely graveyard, it's silver powder with black lipstick. I love makeup. It's artwork and my face is the canvas.

I feel the same way and when I was working as a sales associate at The Body Shop I'd tell my clients the same thing before I went to work on them: I am an artist, and your face is my canvas! (Followed up with 'if you hate what I do we can wash it off with one of our lovely cleansers")

OMG Red winged eyeliner is AMAZING. It makes brown eyes look honey colored.

On a normal day I always wear a ton of eyeliner.
I firstly cover my face in foundation,
not usually though, because I forget.
And then, afterward
I usually put eyeliner across the top and bottom lids of my eyes and then draw a line pointing downward
and then colour it in accordingly
to give the illusion that I am a kitty-cat!!!!!!! [[=

I never did mention this, but I think your lipstick looks amazing.

My routine tends to be eyeliner and sometimes a bit of grey or red eyeshadow, then some mascara, (cherry! hehe) lipgloss and foundation.

Usually just mascara, with a little baby powder to kill any shine and a tiny bit of eyeliner on the outer corners if I have time. A smudge of eyeshadow in the socket, properly applied eyeliner, and a bit of blusher if there's something special happening. I have good cheekbones, so when time permits they're something I like to emphasize. However I've just had all my hair cut off to jaw-length - although I miss it streaming over my shoulders, my bone structure really pops, so I daresay I can do away with the blusher now.

I must confess to going bare faced almost all the time, If I do wear make up it's when I'm going out and then it's usually a little translucent powder, blusher, lots of eye liner and mascara. I wear very little else even though I have loads of make up that my sister bought for me.

It depends how bad my skin is that day, but on a normal day,
black liquid liner on the top, black kohl on the bottom
If it's a bad-skin day, I wear concealer and a light dusting of powder.
Thats pretty much the same every day, including at school.

A different look for each place you go more or less, that's just ridiculous.
I wear whatever the hell I feel like. Usually, that's black eyeliner, generally both lids sometimes thick, sometimes thin, sometimes with loads of mascara. Sometimes Egyptian. Hey, and playing with the red is awesome. When it comes to eyeshadow, I used to wear solid black under the brow, like Robert Smith or something. I like to use some brown when I want to look healthy, and grey when I don't, and none at all usually.
HELL YES, the face is a canvas!!! You wear what you feel!!!
and usually I love a good thick powdering first. There was I time I began wearing a inch of setting powder for eyeshadow. It turned pale blue, and made the eyeliner basically explode. You may as well have worn 3-D glasses.

Oh--and scrub hard first, dead skin isn't healthy.

For School: I start out with black or silver eye shadow, then line the lids with liquid black eyeliner, i line the bottom with an eyeliner pencil and wing the inside and outside corners, i usually use revlon color stay which is amazing, then even out my complexion with a light dusting of bloody marry white powder.

Why would you put chapstick on your eyelid?
