Wow, you're tall.

A black velveteen skirt, a hot pink/black-striped punky top and a white, non-poofy petticoat for the neat price of $5 all together

A skirt that's black on top w/ colored dots in a pattern and pleated and opink on the bottom. It looks like someone handmade it in the 80s. It cost me a whole dollar.

I am in LOVE. I was finally able to purchase these
new boots yesterday.
:sigh: They're adorable! I can't wait to get them! It's going to take 2-7 days, but at least the shipping was free! ::::SQUEE::::

Magnificent! Simply stunning! For me, New Rocks remain a distant pipe dream.
But those look AWSE(um).
I find a problem with new boots is that you really wear many of your old pairs again... *shrugs*
Anyway.
How did you manage to afford them?
My lastest addition to my wardrobe has been a pair of rather old and dusty Doc Martens, a funky frilly shirt (without much around the collar, but really cool OTT ruffs around the wrists, both these items bought for 15 quid from the Real McCoy, best shop in exeter!) and a pair of old combat trousers that are a bit big for me (I'm too thin!).
Ah! And I tried on this really great top hat and tail coat, it looked amazing and next time I have 130 quid burning a hole in my pocket (hope springs eternal..) I'll swing by and get them. Would be such a wonderful thing to wear for a special occasion.
Bon.

Really? I've been wearing my other pair of New Rocks pretty much all the time since I got them. I've put the Demonias to rest. They fall apart too easily.

I have a good job that likes to pay me lots of monies
Is quid slang for your currency? I recall reading about your docs. My suggestion would be to buy a comfy pair of insoles in combination with wearing thicker socks

Seven pairs of very brightly coloured socks, because whenever I buy plain black ones my sister steals them, claiming she got them mixed up with her own. Also, a hot-pink bandeau sundress with Mexican style skulls on it, from H&M. I don't normally buy anything but basic t-shirts and vests from there, but it was too pretty to resist.

A... umm... A belt. Black, but with a nice pattern. Awfully expensive though, $27!
Boring, eh?

A black t-shirt from Wal-Mart, with nothing on it. I'm going to do an iron-on print on it, but I don't know what yet. Any ideas?

I've been thinking about doing something like that with some plain shirts I have, but as creative as I usually am, I'm at a loss currently as far as putting something on them. *secretly wonders if those Tide-To-Go pens will bleach out parts of a black shirt*

Last item?...a black cotton gypsy style top for summer ( I work in factory that has a metal roof..and NO air conditioning )
Not clothing as such, but I desperately want these shoes. I like them both, but my local( ish ) shop that carries these also has them in black and white stripey style I shall have HUMBUG FEET!

I had The Find of the year at my local second hand store last week; a formal style jacket in black velvet (it's gorgeous and fits me so well you might've thought I'd hired a seamstress to make it for me) and another jacket in a kind of black and wine- red brocade fabric. I love'em to death...
