The Goth Bible
Was it this website they were talking about in the Goth Bible?

Yes, it was. Do make an introduction, though. ^^ This site has changed drastically since being mentioned in the Goth Bible, but it's still a great place for the decadent-minded. That book's very insightful, but most of the material focused on fashion, rather than the philosophy or history. It' still a good read, though.

I have heard people say that, and also this site being mentioned in a site of a gothic nanny, yet I've never seen any reference of it.

Not a gothic nanny, but that's the best thing I could come up to describe it.
It's a relatively famous site that has a woman of the Mary Poppins type saying some gothic stuff.

That may have been it's intention. You see, I think that the goth bible explored a lot of the fashions more than the philosophy and asethic because it was intended for goths. Kilpatrick, I would suppose, assumed the majority of her readers of it would already know it (and they did). But I do agree, it could have gone into the philosophy and maybe even the asesthic more. Though she did go over the history, which is important as well.

"Eat your dinner, or I'll kill you in the name of Satan."
I like it. It could be a hit HBO comedy.

Yeah, but I wanted to serpate Rozz Williams from Valder whatever his last name is (rather than putting in Christian Death). I miss Rozz. God, if he were alive today he'd kick arse to all the Good Charlotte MCR posers who hang out in the mall and don't know the meaning of the word goth.

I don't know if he'd do that. They don't deserve Rozz' time and effort anyway. But in all honesty, I believe Rozz had to go. It was something he felt he had to do. Maybe from his lessons we can come to know the dark for light?

Speaking of this gothic Nanny stuff, did you guys see the preview for the next episode of Trading Spouses? Apparently, this conservative family is switching with a family whose mother is apparently goth, and whose father is apparently punk. Be there.

Thank you for that explanation. Taking it into consideration I already knew the history and philosophy, it seems to make sense perfectly. You seem quite intelligent, sir.

Thank you. Goth is quite a salvation for me, I did my thesis on it. You're very smart as well.

Seems quite an intelligent response to me =P. The reason why I stated that he'd get rid of the posers was becuase I was simply looking at him as sort of a superman figure, I really do miss him and yet at the same time he did have to go. He probably wouldn't be very celebrated in today's society much, sadly.

I was trying to be funny with that "I is smart" statement. Anyway, Rozz was a great philosopher, not a superman, in my opinion. I'm starting a thread to discuss his lyrics in the music thread now.
