I've played for three years maybe? I can play most stuff, no wicked metal solos, but almost everything else, if I give it some time. I play a Gretsch electric and a amada classic guitar.

I play an Ebony '72 Gibson Les Paul Custom most of the time. My dad's legacy. I also have my brother's '94 Fender Stratocaster in Olympic White, but the Floyd Rose trem is coming loose so it's hard to keep it in tune.
Running through a Carvin MTS 3200 Master Tube Amp sitting on top of a West Laboratories Cabinet, great half stack with some really fat tone.
I'm an effects junkie but only have 4 pedals, 5 counting the pedal to use the Carvin's built in reverb.
-Washburn Lyon Distortion pedal (borrowed it from a friend 2 years ago and haven't given it back yet)
-MXR Distortion + Fuzz pedal
-VOX Wah-wah pedal
-BOSS Flanger pedal
All of these except the Washburn pedal were all my dad's so I'm assuming they're all pretty old vintage models (especially the VOX pedal).
I play hard rock, blues, metal, alt rock. I love playing Smashing Pumpkins songs and usually keep my guitars tuned half a step down (Eb), though lately I've kept the Gibson tuned 2 and a half steps down (Drop D tuning).
I also find Wednesday 13 songs to be fun little power chord driven tunes with some nice little solos (listen to "Burn The Flames", really great bluesy track I still haven't found tabs for).
My dream guitar is an ESP F-250 with EMG HZ H4 and H4A pickups, basically the original ESP F-250.

Thats a nice guitar, Humane, I have both an `76 reissue Explorer and a `67 reissue Flying V and they have both served me well over the years, now tell me about your Strat is it pre CBS (with a 1956 headstock) or post CBS (with the big 70`s headstock, that is supposed to improve the ressonance of the sound) ?

That is a nice guitar, Humane, awesome !!!.
What amp are you using, I love my Marshalls, but I`m thinking of getting a Line 6 Spider for experimenting with other sounds !!!.
About your Strat, what year is it, I would love to know more about it (I have a 1988 YJM Strat) ?

HP: Well worth the effort. In my opinion, a Gibson just sounds richer/fuller than a Strat ever could.
I'm going to get together with a mate and have one of my awesome guitar jam weekends. I'm stoked.

I play guitar since 3 years. I began with a Squier Bulletstrat, then I turned to a Maverick (I don't know the model).
On the Maverick I changed both humbucker pickups with Seymour Duncan (I don't remember wich type, anyway). It is also the only one I own with a Floyd Rose.
Some months ago I began using a 7-String Jackson Kelly and playing bass.
About strings, I use Ernie Ball and D'Addario, it depends.
Picks? I collect picks so I try any kind I found, but my favourite are Ibanez's and Jim Dunlop.
I use a GT-8 Effects processor for guitar, cause it is easier to change and store sounds and effects, I have a Crybaby pedal but I don't use it very much.
Amplifier... uhm I have a little Fender 15r here at home but in our playing place I use a Crate 130 (Don't remember the type)...

dude!!! I play the guitar... mines a lighter shade of blue and it's really crappy, but i put stickers all over it and it looks awesome, but that can't change that it's still a crappy guitar.

I know somebody that plays the accordion, and he is kick ass!!! he can play stuff from memory, and there's an ass-load of keys. He's Italian or something. I mostly play the clarinet... It's dorky, but I'm not so bad... I mean, I don't have vids on Youtube, but I play in my highschool band. I think there's a couple of people that play guitar on the side, too. I'm going to stick to miming. It's simple, uncomplicated, imaginitive. yeah.
