Huh? English please?
When are you getting married? How old are you? Why are you?
How am I meant to establish if the rant is stupid if YOU sound stupid?

OMGZ.
I just pictured like, a really weird guy giving rides to hitchhikers, but instead of asking for gas money or something, he makes them spell simple words.

At times like these I fondly recall disorder's signature. I think that would suit this thread.

Um.....18?
Isn't that a bit young to be getting married???
I can think of 20 thousand reasons NOT to get married, but I can't think of a single reason TO get married. To each their own though.
Um- I guess that's cool. If that's what you think you really want. Best of luck to you. You'll need it.

Ok, you're 18 and this is your second marriage? How long did the first one last?
No doubt I'll be told to fuck off for daring to ask, but what is your concept of marriage?
And just curious - any reason to pick April Fool's day for the wedding?

I'm more interested in why your response to being picked on by a different forum was to come here and annoy us with it?
Actually, no. I'm really not that interested after all.
Please go away now.

Ok, not to be a bitch, but if you're 18, and already have a failed marriage, you don't know what you're doing. Not only that, but how long could you possibly have known this girl? What with having a previous marriage.

Not meaning to be offensive, but something sounds really wrong in the equation that my brain is putting together here.
The factors are;
-18 years old
-Previous marriage, presumably failed
-Reason for marriage; 'cause i love her' 'its what we both want' (sic)
-Blind recklessness
Soooo... does anyone else see something wrong in this? I can certainly see why some people have called you a 'liar' and 'stupid' but I will refrain from calling you such.
I will, however, give you a pat on the back and a grim 'goodluck', since you will very much need it in the coming years of your marriage. If you're still on Gnet after five years keep us updated on your progress. This will make for an interesting study and possibly a thesis.

Look, Jim, it's perfectly within your right to make your own stupid choices and regret them for years afterward. As such, I'm not going to criticize you. I might suggest, however, that you change the date for the wedding... unless there really isn't one, and the joke is on your fiancée. Yeah, that'd be good. You should do that.

Well, I was giving him the benefit of the doubt on that one, since it's extremely lame and stupid to play pranks on people who don't care at all over the internet.

You've been married beforeso u know what you're doing? It's illegal to marry under 18 years here and that has a good reason I think. I don't know if I should believe this unless you got your girl pregnant.
Love is nice, it's a chemical reaction in your brain. Good luck with your marriage.

Actually marrying age varies depending on what country you're in. In the US, I believe that it varies from state to state as well?
In Ireland and the UK, it's 16 if you have parental consent, and 18 if you don't.
However, the minimum wait period for a "no fault" divorce is 2 years in the UK and 5 years in Ireland. That rules out Ireland!
So if we assume James is in the UK, he gets married on his 16th birthday, he can't actually apply for a divorce until his 18th birthday. Then, assuming it's uncontested, it's possible he'd get the divorce through before he turned 19 in time to get married again.
Of course, the first marriage might have been annulled. Non-consumation is the usual reason for that one............. 0:-)

I feel bad that you had to lose her, but honestly, that doesn't mean you should rush into a new marriage. It's your life, and what the hell do I know, but I really think it'll help you to take more time. Why do you want to get married? You say because you love her, but you can love with without marrying her so soon, and it'll make it more likely that you stay with her.
