I look wicked cool.

You know, I was thinking the other day-- what if Spider-Man lived in Washington, D.C? There would be way more crime to fight, but nothing really on which to web swing, as no structure is permitted to be taller than the Washington monument.

Srsly?

Talk about your sense of entitlement. That's almost as bad a royal order to laugh at all the king's jokes.

Um...that isn't how the hight restrictions work, actually things are a good bit more limited than that. Buildings get a high restriction based on the size of the building front. So essentially you can have tall(ish) buildings but they have to be really wide and it has nothing to do with the monument, although that is the tallest building in DC by a long shot that is mainly because it was built before there were any height restrictions.

That being said there are plenty of buildings tall enough for Spider Man to swing from plus he could always just get out of DC and go to Vienna or something where there aren't such strict limitations.

Besides, in the old cartoon it didn't seem like he was hanging on to anything in particular.

I liked the 90's Spiderman too, but yeah Batman The Animated Series was one of the best cartoon shows ever.

Man, the closet monster used to frighten the shit out of me. I don't remember it very well mind you, but I remember the Christmas show was pretty epic.

I didn't like Dinosaurs, actually. I think my favourite shows were Batman and Gargoyles.

Better a gargoyle than a furry?

And there was two episodes that I can think of where he was turned into a human. I always thought he looked better as a gargoyle though XD

Hmm I don't remember the human deal...but I suppose that makes me feel better. And I would pick a gargoyle over a furry any day.

Yeah there was an episode where Demona captures Puck (from A Midsummer's Night Dream, and was voiced by Data from Star Trek) and he turns Elisa into a gargoyle and Goliath into a human:

I think there was a episode in the second season where Goliath was turned into a human and he had to get a job and shit, I think, I didn't rewatch the second season. I should, its all on youtube.

I stand corrected, though I do believe the restrictions exist to ensure that the National Mall continues looking majestic.

Swinging, while admittedly possible, would nevertheless be way lamer than in a normal city, and he couldn't ask Aunt May to just pack up her whole life.
