Yep, I'm all about this. We certainly are capable as a society and a scientifically evolved world of devising a maturity test and even issuing maturity licenses. (Imagine the lines at that government facility - yikes!) And part of me wishes it were so. But the logistics are daunting to say the least, and I understand where we are today with the arbitrary age limits.

But damn, I'm becoming increasingly concerned about Big Brother's oversight. I don't think any of that protects anyone from sexual preditors or from bad behavior.
