I wear black because all my cloths come in black lol but really you can wear black for anything.

Well I have quite a few reasons for wearing black

1. I look good in it
2. I dont have to cordinate colors
3. It's elegant
4. I feel... magical in it. It's good to get in touch with that part of me
5. It doesnt show stains (I'm clumsy, so I spill alot of things, and they always end up on that favorite shirt)
6. I feel... Bold in it, but I can still fade into the woodwork if I wish

3.) Black is slimming, looks professional as well as elegant, and the best clothes are always in black.
4.) There is a reason why there is a "Little Black Dress" and not a "Little White/Red/Purple/Blue/Whatever Dress"

I'm not sure. I've known a LOT of non-Goths who were plenty sorrowful, and a few Goths who were rather happy.

I don't know. For me, I just feel comfortable in black lace and satin and velvet and big froofy skirts paired with clunky boots, topped with a 3$ pair of halloween cat ears. I don't know exactly why I like things like that, other than it being a feature of my personality... I'm attracted to dark things, and find weird things to be beautiful, like grungy, peeling, stained walls or a dead tree in the middle of a bog, or the scariness that comes with sketchy neighbourhoods like around 11th avenue and 50th street in New York.
