That is awesome! I was cleaning out my old laptop and found three earrings and a fingernail. I probably drooled into that poor thing all the times I fell asleep on it.

My apologies in advance for the presence of lights in B&V, but the new management... *shudder*... redecorated.
Nah, it was ok.

Doing better than me, then. My favoured pub has been taken over. It may turn into a sports bar at any day.

Roach=bug. Damn thing was dead, but I swear it was living in there with the mess he had inside his case. I swear people these days don't know how to take care of computers and complain when they break down.

Ick.... I get paranoid when my keyboard so much as looks dusty at the edges and take great care not to eat biscuits over it. I don't want to have to give it to someone else to fix.

It would be nice if we were older, then we wouldn't have to wait to get married, and divorce a year later when we find we have nothing in common.

Oh yeah (yawns and sips coffee), I get up this early, because I have to leave for work by 4 AM but want to have time to log onto Gnet first. Goths love the dark of early morning anyway.

At least I avoid commuting traffic, and get off work at 2:30 PM, leaving the rest of the day to myself.

Troubleshoot and fix Oracle databases and networks, network storage and application management software. Think of a datacenter administrator who can manage petabytes around the world from his desktop, thus eliminating the need for multiple high paid techies, reducing it to one. Banks, pharmaceutical companies, governments etc. buy the product.

It's 11.58am by my clock (so 12.08pm by GNet's odd timing), and I haven't slept since I woke up at about this time yesterday.
I really need to fix my sleeping patterns, they're all over the place again.

Uhm.. you wouldn't like my keyboards then. First of all, they're white. Second of all, they get used a lot daily. Thirdly, since they're white they get noticeably dirty much quicker than the black ones.

Point three is actually good, since that keeps me cleaning them and thus get a more sterile working environment. The keyboard of a computer is the nastiest thing in a modern home. Very unclean and "germy".

Heh, mine too.. I didn't even know what day it was when the sun was prodding it's shiny face above the hazy horizon. NOT good, but goes well with my pretentious "Sex, Drugs And Rock'N'Roll™" lifestyle.

Hmm. Should we ask how many of those you enjoyed this weekend to incur such a loss of timescale?

At the still point of the turning world. Neither flesh nor fleshless;
Neither from nor towards; at the still point, there the dance is,
But neither arrest nor movement. And do not call it fixity,
Where past and future are gathered. Neither movement from nor towards,
Neither ascent nor decline. Except for the point, the still point,
There would be no dance, and there is only the dance.
I can only say, there we have been: but I cannot say where.
And I cannot say, how long, for that is to place it in time.

'tis tells it all.
