Yes, but unfortunately easy targets for shoulder fired rockets. We must remove terrorism first.

Angel Boy don’t deal in reality
They say he’s pretentious
And acts like a girl
Creating his own sexuality
With one middle finger
Stuck up at the world
With glitter in his smile
He could be Ziggy’s child
Sex and drugs and
The Rock‘n’Roll lifestyle

Happy birthday to me.

My mom brought home the ugliest cake. I typically don't eat cake, but I just had to devour this piece of hideosity. I couldn't resist.

Fully equipped with multi-colored ribbons and monstrous globs of whipped cream icing. Mmm.

You've officially become a musician!

(I jest)

But in all seriousness, I can teach you a few songs when I'm there...

That's nice, HumanePain.

On another tack vaguely along those lines, my son hung out today. While he was on the computer I had some scary-assed movies on the tube. (About the only time I watch it is when he's here.) The weather outside was frightful, with rain and hail and wind and clouds and all. At one point I heard distinctly when my outside bulb burst. Cold rain on the hot bulb I figured. My son more noticed when a gust threw open the door, dripping and damp cold air blowing in. It doesn't really close that well. I laughed it off and locked the door assuring him that if it opened again I would trip. Now, tonight, long after he left, I was a little spooked. I admit it! So here I am playing on the web. El oh well! Pleasant dreams.

Kanedawg, your description of your evening reminded me of an equally disturbing night I had when I was 17: I had just gone to bed after watching The Exorcist when it was first released in the theatres. My girlfriend and I were horrified. I dropped her off at home, and then went home to an empty house (my parents were divorced, and my mother and sister were both gone somewhere).

I went to bed, with the ghastly images of Regan flashing through my teenage mind.

Suddenly, for some weird reason, the Led Zeppelin poster of Jimmy Page fell of the tacks in my room's wall. The rustling in the dark frightened me and I had momentarily forgot I had a poster hanging there.

Sitting up in bed in fright, I reached over to my nightstand and turned on the bedroom lamp. The light bulb chose that precise time to burn out in a bright blue flash! My eyes imprinted with a negative image of my room were temporarily blinded.

Then immediately after the flash, there came a rapping at my bedroom window which was behind the head of my bed! My bedroom was on the first floor.

Having all of this happen in the score of a few seconds overwhelmed me, and unable to stand the torture any longer I decided to meet my fate face to face, throwing open the curtains!

Standing there was my best friend, grinning his toothy Jewish smile and laughing at my fright! He wanted us to go out, get some beers and go cruising for girls.

The poster rustling to the floor, the bulb burning out and the window tapping all happened in less than 15 seconds. I will never forget that experience as long as I live!

Hey! Well I am going to turn in now, but you made me laugh! I have a one story place and was hearing something like pressure against the window by my bed for a moment. Probably wind or something.

The Exorcist is a damned scary movie! Hope I don't start thinking about that now! :^) I do wonder sometimes if we create negative psychic energy by watching those things. Then stuff happens. Oh yeah. Now I'm ready for bed! Good night everyone.
