Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Need more Industrial / Aggrotech / Electro-Industrial.
Hello! The last few months I have been truly addicted to Industrial, Aggrotec, Electro-Industrial, and a bit of EBM. So it would be great if you could help me find some more bands! Prereably sounding somewhat like the ones mentioned below that I already know.
Megaherz
Laibach
Psyclon Nine
Rammstein
Wumpscut
Leæther strip
Das Ich
Nine Inch Nails
Die Krupps

Going to see Skinny Puppy in November. Can't freaking wait.
...I'm surprised no deathrockers have assulted this thread with sticks and fire. D: Maybe I'm just traumatized from spending a month away at VF.

A lot of deathrock fans also enjoy early industrial. I had to resist the urge to play Einstürzende Neubauten* at the deathrock night I used to run... But could probably have got away with it if I had.
*And there's my addition to this thread.

All I really know is early industrial metal, the bleak heavy as shit stuff:
Pitchshifter: early stuff from Death Industrial to Desensitized in '93, then they started to suck.
Godflesh, same thing, the early stuff up to Slavestate.

All good suggestions. Also, you may like Frontline Assembly, Suicide Commando, The Gothsicles, Ministry, Goteki, Meat Beat Manifesto, and Tactical Sekt.

I been meaning to listen to some Goteki, one of them DJs at a club I've been to a bit. I have a feeling I won't like it though.

Laibach is the shizz. As for Aggrotech, my personal favorites would be Grendel and Asphyxia.

To bring back a dead thread, I've gotten into Combichrist, :wumpscut: and Grendel lately. I've searched this thread and thanks for the other suggestions.

Have you got 'Grind Madness at the BBC'? I don't know how you feel about grindcore but it's a collection of the Peel sessions of Napalm Death, Carcass, Extreme Noise Terror, Godflesh and I think another band I can't remember. Well worth checking out.

I need to get that! I just looked up the tracklist, some of my favorite bands on there, including Heresy, they never get enough love!
Edit:
I found Napalm Death's Peel Sessions on cassette about 2 years ago for .95 cents at a record store, great stuff!

Shoogle needs to look at what Skinny Puppy used to look like before they grew up.
EN rule.
Rammstein are barely industrial*, this thread needs more elitism.
*Not that I don't like them.**
**Wow, this is fun.
