This is the single most amazing piece of musical composition I have EVER heard in my life. I would immediately state this masterpiece as more disturbing than Throbbing Gristle's "Hamburger Lady", and far more shocking.
It was originally written in 1959, growing out of abstract ideas forming in the imagination of it's young composer Krzysztof Pendeckeri. It was so harrowing when heard for the first time, that he knew it had to be dedicated for something of an extraordinary magnitude of sickness and evil. He chose the detonation of the A-bomb.
If you have heard it before, you know already. This post is not quite aimed in your direction.
If you have not, then please, ladies and gentlemen.... for your enjoyment, "Threnody For The Victims Of Hiroshima."
