Fashion DIY tips and gratuitous plugs. And hair. Hair! Flow it, show it. Wait...no. That's some hippie musical. Nevermind. |

What is it about real bones that puts you off? They're just as clean as plastic, and with the added bonus of being recycled AND bio-degradable. They're also free if you look in the right places, haha.

Cut a slit in the quill , threaded copper jewellery wire through it and wound the shorter end round several times to secure it, then threaded the remaining longer end through the chain and wound that round and through to secure it.

Thanks : D
The pants are actually really fun to make; I may try bleaching other stuff soon. I wanna try it on my boots.
It's a dreadhawk with the back shaved off. I'm gonna be dying it green once the dreads are mature enough to not be destroyed by bleach.

I just finished my new vest yesterday, the backpatch just came in the mail and I finished studding it. It's my crustgrind vest. I took a denim jacket hacked the sleeves off and went to town, I'll get pics of it this weekend. I've got Sore Throat, Napalm Death, Extreme Noise Terror, Nausea, Broken Bones and an awesome Carcass backpatch.

I'm looking forward to pictures of this vest.
The ones on your myspace looked awesome.
In my DIY updates, I've finished my Rubella Ballet patch and need to sew it onto my denim jacket.
It looks fucking awesome.

It's both a complicated part of my spirituality and linked to my worst phobia.

Not bad, but with the picture you used as reference.. you could have just made a stencil out of it. :P

I've hemmed up the sides of a vest of mine, so it's not baggy. I'm not showing pictures because it's shitty. I don't know how to even both sides out, besides just eyeballing it. Especially when I've hemmed it so it goes in more towards the middle.

Almost finished two vests I've been working on, one Christian Death the other Einstürzende Neubauten. Just have to sew the patches on now.

I made a Motley Crue vest for my hair metal drag costume.
Not pictured: the massive penis placed strategically in my shiny, tight pants, which I DIY-ed from a condom and dried lentils. Vegetarian man meat (and a totally awesome DIY accomplishment).

I won't sleep tonight, due to a mixture of fear and arousal.
But mostly fear.

I sure did make a sexy hunk of man flesh, I know, but the real star of the drag night was Bat Brains.
