So, I don't know what's going on, but I've kinda noticed that I get misdirected when I try to look at certain member's posts.

Case in point, Underwater Ophelia. I see that she's posted a couple of things here and there, but the forum doesn't display her comments at all. It's kind of like a ghost.

She's not banned and she's not on my ignore list.

What gives??

She was banned for advertising Duckman's new forum.
Gnet has said that it may or may not be temporary.

Not really. Duckman was banned, understandably, so he left to start a new "discussion board", which I feel is a splendid idea as it provides morons with a place to go that isn't here.

She's not banned. It's kind of a "time out", like my old account still is. The quickest way to make certain any contentious posts are unread is to hide them. Banning is not hiding the posts, it is like putting a head on a stake as an example to others. Timing out is erasing them completely for X amoutn of time.

So, it would seem Ophie's reference was more damning than th eporn links. We all have priorities. She'll be back, most likely. No worries.

That's too bad. Yeah, she rubs me the wrong way, but damn. She is/was a good member for the most part.

A banning shouldn't lead to an inability to see someone's posts as there are still easily viewed posts from plenty of people who have been banned.

she's not banned. neither was my old handle. but their "time out" mode renders the handle and posts invisible.
