I just read through all four pages of this ... hirsute hysteria. Man, what a waste of 5 minutes.

1) I find the irony leaves me light-headed whenever I read a post where the writer criticizes a previous poster's misspelling in a statement loaded with ... misspelling.

2) I think the subject of "furries" is so completely mangled in my consciousness by all the stereotypes that have flooded the internet, that the amalgamated imagery is inseparable in my mind. I cannot get the concept of grown men sticking their wang into teddy bears out of my thoughts when I hear the word "furry".

3) When I wrote that last sentence I almost wrote "groan men".

4) There is a point where people start a thread to talk about their particular thing, and whatever it is, I realize they've posted it in the wrong place for the wrong reason. It's like somebody posting an "I'm gay and people don't understand what being gay is all about" thread in a forum for pyromaniacs. I'm sure there's a minority of pyromaniacs that are gay, and a subset of that minority that care whether they are understood (!) ... but most of the pyromaniacs are just gonna yell, "Shut the fuck up and pass the matches!"
