This girl in my class goes on about Twilight. She even suckered my reading teacher into it. I know she's my teacher, but I have no respect for her whatsoever now. The Twilight posters around her room are just too much.
I just looked up and realized nobody's talking about the book anymore. Ignore me and continue. xP

Those of you who play or have played world of warcraft will probably find this more amusing than others, but for those of you who want to die a little more inside...or die laughing, here is a link related to this thread: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/th...810732&sid=1#0

I just saw the "Ungroundable" episode of South Park

I think I enjoyed it a little bit too much.

Hm, I don´t know about this "oh, let´s just all hate Twilight" thing. I saw the movie with Cyntrox a few days ago and, um, apart from the obvious teen appeal found it quite enjoyable. The acting isn´t too bad either. Now I haven´t read the books, and don´t plan to do so, so that might be why I don´t get it, but yeah.

I actually quite like the book but Minyaliel I'd have to disagree with you about the movie. Maybe its because I've read all of the books and compared the movie to the books. Even though its a love story, the movie didn't really show Edward and Bella falling in love. Thats my biggest problem with the film. You know they love each other, but the movie doesn't show any of the little things that show why.

The comments on this page made me lose all hope for humanity.
Particulary the one that went like this "My girlfriend calls me Edward sometimes. I had to put my foot down and refuse to put glitter on and roleplay."

I didn't like the books. And I despise the film. It's made it so much more accessible for the "fanbase". There are people at my school that walk around with copies ( some even leatherbound ) under their arm, like it's some kind of statement.

I can see young children who haven't been exposed to good literature liking it, but I cringe whenever I meet someone my age or older who LOVE it.

On of my roommates absolutely loves it, even has a Twilight poster on her door, she is a sweetheart but god damn it can be a bit much to handle, at least she agrees that Edward is an ass, but she seems to have an unhealthy love for Carlisle.

Quoted for truth.
I die a little inside everytime I see someone older than 13 reading it.

Are you kidding? Did you see the acting in that movie? It's like making a movie using bad stop motion and the speech function on a Mac.

Seriously, the acting in Twilight reminds me of Laguna Beach, but with vampires.
