Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

I seen them in concert, once.
I thought they blew. The singer forgot the words and randomly freaked out.
The tempo was up and down, up and down.
Horrible show.

How the hell could a professional singer forget the words to their song?

I like some of Disturbed.
Okay, I like a little of Disturbed...
Yeah...
The only songs I like are, "Prayer", "Liberate", and "Stupify". They sound different then my collective amount of music, so I listen to them.
I've never seen them in concert, but then again, I really don't care about concerts.

I like Disturbed. They aren't up there with my favorites, but they're pretty cool. I saw them live a few months ago and they were pretty cool. I think Draiman was sick though, and you could tell because his vocals were somewhat sub-par.

Forgot the Words? Thats Hilarious!!
I dont even forget words for songs in concert, and I randomly belted out 'Ice Ice" onstage while the Bassist was off taking a piss.....
...try doing that at a punk show with a bunch of angry Drunk punks....
fuck Disturbed. Fun Music, stupid people.

I used to like Disturbed... five years ago. Now, they're just another half-assed nu-metal band. Draiman bitches about seeing Hot Topic kids in his audience in a recent magazine interview. I see it this way: if you don't want a poseurish fanbase, stop writing such mainstream swill.

The only song I like by Disturbed is " Down With The Sickness". The others suck.

Disturbed is great. I admit their songs do sound like the songs every other band is churning out but I like that to...I'd love to see them in concert, but I don't think they come to canberra...should check it out.

I swear to god, everyone is going to wake up one day and realise just how much Disturbed (and Trivium) suck. I don't particularly like Metal, but if you're going to listnen to it, at least pick some bands that actually have talent

Hehe, yeah, I began to like Disturbed again after Queen of the Damned. I also loved their new CD "10000 Fists" or something.
I don't really believe Disturbed ever sold out. It just became too popular.
Hades! Their second CD (although I do not like it that much) is about religion.
How many bands that are looking for nothing but fame would write an entire CD on such a delicate subject?

They're okay. Barely. I like 3 songs. "Gaurded", "Down With The Sickness", and "Land of Confusion" (which I still give them credit for despite it being a remake since it's twice as nice as the original). And I don't listen to anything else they do. Unless someone I trust with musical taste asks me to. And then I usually still don't like it.
The problem with them is that most of what they put out, especially recently, sounds just like everything else all the publicized bands throw out and sell like crazy to punk kids.

Necro, much?
But meh. They are fun for kickboxing and hitting the gym. They're entertaining, but I wouldn't say they are good.
