If you like what your wearing keep wearing it.Don't change something unless you want too.If the guy dosen't like you for all the little things that make you special .Tell him to go fuck himself gently with a chainsaw.Realy though ,if the guy dosen't like all the little cute things about you ,your better off without him.Pleasent dayz and wild nights.

Hey, if you like wearing t-shirts and jeans, hell go for it. So do I and i'm 19. There is, however a time and a place to dress up/your age. On the job for instance.....you may want to try something more age appropriate and sophisticated. But sweetie, what you wear on your own time is completely your own personal preference.

Hope that helped?

Jeans and funky T-shirts is in no way dressing too young. Hell, my mom wears jeans most of the time. A lot of people do. I mean it's not like you're wearing Pooh bear overalls or something.

Wear what you want.

Nothing is wrong with Pooh-Bear overalls- I have a fluffy hoodie with Eeyore on it, and another one with Tigger and some snowflakes! The Eeyore hoodie even has fluffy white faux fur around the edge of the hood and a little white pompon on the top!

Do you mean that I don't dress too young, that I'm not adorable, or both? I'm not "haggard" by any means. Somewhere on the picture post thread is a picture of me dressed up kinda elegantly.

I'd say I dress in a rather androgynous manner, a'la David Bowie. I have some rather femme pieces here and there, and I like to mix and match them.

Maybe this is an American thing. Here in Wales there's just as many people wandering around uni in jeans and cute t-shirts, as there are wearing button down shirts and khakis. Also, I don't think either is considered more grown up than the other.

Either way, everyone else has already said it; wear what you like.

I do sometimes try to entice him into women's clothing shops by asking him to show me what he likes on me.

It seems like most of the other girls at my school have a more sophisticated look going on, like khakis and button-down shirts. My boyfriend once asked me,"What are you- thirteen?" Should I "grow up" and dress nicer?
MOST of my wardrobe is black girls dickies and band tee's... and I'm going to be 23 in March. I have alot of nice black skirts and tops which is how I usually dress, but sometimes I don't feel like getting all dressy just to go to school or work. Don't let people tell you how to dress, do whatever you like. It's your life not theirs.

good luck girlie!

Your boyfriend is a doofus, if my SO said that to me then I'd tell him to date someone else, or just live with it. Wear what you feel comfortable in.

If that were my boyfriend, I would most definitely rip him three new assholes. I would most definitely not put up with crap like that, no way, no how!
Kick that assclown out!
