siblings of insanity
We hold hands through plastered white walls
And live in the hell we happened to fall.
Bound to the memories of siblings long past
Blood on the sheets and cracks in the glass.
Stripped of our pride and put in these places
With cuts on our wrists and tears down our faces.
Chained to solitude and strapped to beds
We struggle to break free with this voice in our head.
Death in our heart and drugs in our veins
Screams fill the hallways with sadness and pain.
This is not what we wanted when we cried out for help
We only needed some peace, instead of killing ourselves.
Cry for death as the needle breaks your skin,
And for a moment you’ll forget all the pain that you’re in.
Never alone, just alone in our heart
Because us and our loved ones have been torn apart.
Sharing a heart and sharing a hell
With nothing left but a story to tell.

I used to be really harsh on my partner for writing bad rhyming cliches until I realized that beneath the very strong and impressiv shell, that is how he feels.
Sometimes what sounds like bad rhyming cliche to you or me, might be the most scaring confession of weakness for someone else. Not saying it's the case, just take that in mind.
I don't know what about the hospitals where you live, OP, but to me it sounds hilariously fake.
If it is true and you write from your own experience, however, feel free to correct me.
