Hopefully my damned Dead Kennedys shirt will be finished by the end of tonight.
It's annoying because my mum bought the wrong kind of paint as a present, it was too thin and therefore I'm on about to 20th coat to try and get the red into the material. It's finally working though, so I'm happy.
I finished a Cinema Strange shirt too. It's the same design as a previous one I've done but the original shirt was far too short.
Ahh before I forget, can anyone come up with some ideas on what to do for a jacket I have. I recently bought a better looking one and the one I wish to decorate is rather plain. It's basically a canvas-y sort of material, black and in the shape of a jacket. Nothing special at all. Two pockets and a zip.
IDEAS?!?!?

I want to create a patch that shows an enlarged version of my head, opening his mouth in order to eat the entirety of a generic rock band, which represents the generic rock kids now play.

@ Raptor:
Thanks, I was contemplating making a stencil for the Eat Your Make-Up one too...but in all honestly that would've taken ages to cut out so this ones free hand. The patches are going on one of the two vests I've been working on.
@NightmareInShiningArmour:
How do I make them?
Well I can't remember the name of the fabric that I used for these ones, can probably find out though. The paint im using is from a brand called, "British Paints" and im using "White Matt". Starting out with a thin layer and building up until its thick enough.
After I've finished with all the areas that I paint onto, I leave them to dry over night. Then I iron them a few times with another piece of fabric between the iron and the actual patch, to help the paint bond more strongly and to stop the paint from flaking at all if you decide to throw whatever your putting it on into the wash.
I've found that it's easier to freehand patches over shirts, mostly because of their small size and the fact that it really isn't worth the effort. So the three above I did are free hand. Also, one of the good things about working with a black fabric is you can easily touch it up with permanent marker if you want to make lines thinner etc.

Could anyone give me some advice on bleaching for the first time, I'm planning on doing a few black shirts and wanted to do something different.

I would dilute it a little bit, unless you want lots of holes, which also looks good. Also, don't over do it, handle the bleach carefully, if you're doing something intricate, it's really difficult to get rid of a fuckup.

So basically it's like doing a freehand shirt, just on a piece of fabric?
Thanks anyway. I'll give it a crack some time. I wanna do something to a pair of jeans, I've got four plain black pairs. Nothing interesting. I wanna do a jacket too.

I still stencil patches because I can't freehand at all.

It will wreck your paintbrush so use an old one, or a sponge. As for making holes, I know people that use bleach straight like me and have never had any problems. But Jack isn't the only one to have had holes appear so maybe it's fabric dependent.

Part 4 is my favorite!
If there were no government, wouldn't there be chaos? Everybody runnin round, settin petrol bombs off? And if there were no policemen, tell me what you'd do, with 30000 rioters runnin after you. And what if I told you to fuck off?

Maggz, bumflap pictures NOW. Make sure you're wearing it. ;D
I'm going to be getting a moto jacket here soon.. AYP is having a sale, and I can easily dye over the turquoise, since the black is out of stock.
My leather jacket never softened up, even after a year.. the leather is absolute shit. How can I get it to soften?! I've already used saddle softener and beat the hell out of it, a la brick wall.
