So apparently Betty Friedan wrote a book called The Second Stage where she basically recanted a lot of things she said in The Feminine Mystique, which is sad because that was for the most part a good book. But I read an excerpt today from The Second Stage that makes me think she was thinking about me, when she wrote about "female machismo" and what a girl who acts too much like a man is like:

Its odd for me to think that a feminist leader thought having a computer in the bedroom must make a short haired woman a hollow shell.

I'm liking the sound of these. And anything that involves chocolate truffles. Thanks for that, I'll have to try it out one day.

Yesterday, I got to take out a friends tooth by tying fishing wire to said tooth and the other end to my car, and then driving off. It was pure awesomeness.

You just decided to stop whining now? Wow, just imagine, all this time you could have been doing something more productive.

I need tea, I'n in mild shock! Travel West Midlands have actually replied and apologised, in reply to the complaint I sent in about the bus service I have to use ( frequently late, often doesn't arrive at all and when we had about half an inch of snow a few weeks ago, no buses turned up and I had to get an £8 taxi home <_< )

It seems to have been written by an actual human being as well, doesn't seem to be the expected " we are sorry you had a bad time ...well ok thanks bye " type of thing.

So you got a "We are sorry.. well, not really but still, that you had a bad time. Now bugger off!" instead? That would be neat.

Haha, no not quite, but I did reply with a suggestion of adding two more buses to that service ( there are only two at the moment one for each way of the route ) to make things easier and ensure that at least one of the buses could actually turn up on time/at all for a change ( they did say they liked feedback so they got it )

It's not like it's a backroad, it's a well used main road route and definitely needs more transport on it. Grr : P

I'm going to make dinner for my Gent's family this weekend.

Also, three job interviews in the next three days. Wish me luck.

I haaaaaaate when you shave and think you've got it all and then later on in the day you notice that you missed this chunk of hair and it keeps bothering you.

Also, boss plans to give me four days a week. Still poor. Will still be poor with another part time job. But things are looking up.

I remember the first time I was browsing through a forum and saw one of the posters was going by the username "fucking god". I had a few chuckles over that one! LOL!
