Personally, I think it takes a bit of conditioning. It doesn't happen overnight, but you do need to know how to take things in stride.
I guess it helps to be a smartass as well.
And for the record... people who use the excuse "It's just a computer" really lack the esteem to deal with real problems. If you have to hide behind a screen, and would act differently offline, then you have a problem.
To me, this is no different than speaking on the phone to somebody, I may never have or will meet any of you, however I still portray myself as I would anywhere.

Weeeel, my first choice is acting or movie editing or something rather. If the youth doesn't change when I'm older, I could become one. But if it does, I might not understand the new generation.
