true true. Goths already have a gang sign. The fact that it's been stolen by pretty much every other subculture just proves that it really is a kick ass sign....

if we were to have a gang sign, or like a logo, I would see an old cracked ankh with a rose going through the center.

There would have to be some sort of hand signal too like that W ...Westside?? or whatever it is ( you know where you spread the thumb, index and little finger, and cross the middle and ring finger and then gesticulate madly ? ) . Everyone can make a kind of G shape with their hand, when they spy a fellow goth....Ooooo!

It would be a "W" with the four fingers. The middle the ring and middle fingers crossing. The "W" symbolizing Wicked.

It's a good idea, but it's a bit similar to that weird hand gesture popular amongst teenage boys, where you tap your fist on top of your friend's (took me five attempts, and that's the closest thing to a description I can manage).

If a bat were to be added it could also represent the batcave movement and it helps make it look a little more wicked.

There's so many different culture styles in Goth that I cannot think of any one that would incorporate everything.
So I'd prefer a Bauhaus picture with Souixsie eyes. Maybe make the Bauhaus face be made more human-like to make it easier to include the eyes.
Either that or Peter Murphey with fangs.
