Actually I have gas heat, and when my electric went out my heat went out too. You still need a fan to circulate the hot air out of the furnace so without electric, gas heat is still a no go I think.
Still, it's fucking stupid for people to act like society murdered him when he had an outstanding bill. Actions have consequences, and it's not societies responsibility to be your nanny.
I mean, if Kontan came up to me and said: "Oh MAN I'm a little short this month guy, can you loan me some money for food?" I probably would. If Kontan kept asking me to loan him money for food, and he eventually owed me $1000 or more, I'd probably say: "Sorry guy, can't do it. You'll have to take care of yourself."
If he then starved to death, would you people consider me his murderer?

the way i see anarchy, it's just the beginning stages of a totalitarian ruler/tyrant run place.
