What does your room look like?
I was just up in my room admiring its messiness, and I wonder what everyone's room looked like.
Post pictures or don't, but please feed my curiosity.

Mine is white, and kind of boring. I'll get some current pictures up shortly.
The room I had at my dad's was grey and black, with white trim and doors. I loved it.. (the horse thing is wallpaper from the previous theme) http://s70.photobucket.com/albums/i1...Picture001.jpg

It looks like a high school biology project gone sentient.

We had an older thread like this if you want to go look it up, I think it was sometime last summer and pretty much all I remember was that Honeythorn has an awesome room

I actually tried searching for a similar thread, but the search engine wasn't too helpful and brought up mostly unrelated threads. Sorry for creating a double-thread. Perhaps we can resurrect the old thread? I'm just too lazy...

No worries, it was an old thread I just wanted to mention is so that you could better satisfy your curiosity, odd that a search isn't pulling anything up.

My room has four walls that are made out of dry wall and painted white. There's a carpet on the floor and a light on the ceiling. Pretty cool, eh?

My room was originally intended to be an arts and craft room for my mother (when my parents were designing the house they didn't think that they would ever have children so Erik got the guest bedroom and I got the art room) so the space is a bit odd for a bedroom but I have great lighting and views so I don't really mind. Also I have a very high ceiling but there are two beams that cross at about where a normal ceiling would be, one of which holds my ceiling fan, the other goes right above my bed (I'll let your minds process that as they will).

Mine is an old hotel room(dorm, don't ask) and it's messy like hell :P Kinda like a maze, with lots of agressive dust bunnies biting your feet.

The wall is yellow. o.0
But there's a story behind it.
I painted it yellow in the fifth grade because I was obssessed with the guy.
I had a major crush on him and his favorite color was yellow.
When I got overe him I was going to paint black over it, but my mom wouldn't let me, so I just drew all over it and covered it up with band posters.

My room is pretty boring, I basically just treat it like a storage room, its way too tiny for all the crap that I have so there's not much room to walk around in, basically I'm just in there for when I get changed and sleep. I'll eventually give some things I don't need away and rearrange it so I have more space, I'd like to get a bunny soon and I'd like to give it the run of the room when I'm not home and he can't go out into the living room.

Well.
I USED to have a sweet room. And before that it was even sweeter. But now I live in my parents' guest room so it's themed just like the rest of the house, which means there's palm trees everywhere.
I fucking hate palm trees.

I have some exquisite black lacy curtains hanging in my window, but I will need to install some blinds or drape a block-out curtain behind them. I can post a picture of my room once I have cleaned up the frightful mess!

Like the room of a faintly pretentious bastard.. but with added fish and shiny-ness. Apart from the aquarium my bed is my favourite piece of furniture, as I paid for it with my own earnings. Love it.
Bed:
The spine is called Jeremy
Shinies!:
Tank ( 30 gallon freshwater )

Honeythorn, I envy your room's awesomeness. I think I'll have to move under your bed.
My room looks like shit.

I wonder how many people are going to come and live in my room this time? Last time we had a thread like this, the count got to about 5 or something haha! There is only one person on this site who'd be allowed IN the bed, but he no longer posts alas. So I get it all to myself *dances* I wouldn't mind a pretty thing to lie at the end though... hmmm.....

My room is full of boxes, 'cos I'm only living here for six months and didn't see the sense in unpacking everything. It's a kind of practical laziness.
It's magnolia, though judging by some of the chipped bits it was once painted a delightful phlegm colour, and I have a cheap creaky bed. There's a small pile of artficial flower parts from my latest art project lying around and a stack of unread books. It's not too hot or too bright which suits me just fine

I have a fairly plain room. Just a bed and computer with books and sewing stuff sacked everywhere.

Five walls, panted off-white. Angled ceiling that about 7 feet up on one side and about 12 feet high on the other (guessing at the actual heights), painted the same crappy color. Ugly beige carpet that's heavily stained thanks to my kids, my sisters-in-law, and, in lesser part, myself and my wife. Crappy Ikea furniture. Dust. Books, DVDs, CDs, and video games. Beds. Windows. Doors. Computer and a desk to go with it.

i love ikea - you can sometimes get some great stuff there - like giant wall stickers of dark ornate frames.
i also have asylum white walls - but i covered them in cheap black and purple fabric (ikea bed linen, actually) and it makes them look great. also have some black lace going around the ceiling...and i should probably think of taking my gothmas tree down now...

Well, Ikea does have some nice stuff. I just don't have any of it.

I'm only really ever home to sleep and eat, so my room looks like a mess. I may post pics when I get round to it.
