I have no reason to be investigated, but it still irritates me.

I understand its uses for political capital but i still think its wrong. from what i understand of the patriot act it completely negates the concept of getting a warrant. so no grand-jury deciding as to whether or not the cops are overstepping their bounds.
Perhaps Obama didn't veto to score point , but i am not certain those who would be susceptible to his charms would be very swayed by this decision.

I love the way many government officials, not naming names or parties, will say 'if you have nothing to hide, then you have nothing to worry about'
Yet they don't follow their own mantra when it comes to things like wikileaks.
