Sorry I started being a really keen student, watching all the faces and stuff, but got distracted by so many guys in uniform AND the epic shot of the three guys with the sun in the background AND the humvees AND the music AND the helicopters AND the shots of the rockets being launched at night AND being jumped on by babybat AND by watching the latest Star Trek movie on a 103 inch projector screen AND packing the dishwasher (again)...

Have I mentioned I have the attention span of a knat?

Mr Bat is the only guy who gets me hot and bothered (although he thinks it's pretty sad that after 10 years of being together that I still lust after him as much as I did the first day i saw his legs.... I mean I met him....and I only have eyes for him)

Although I did think to myself that it looked pretty hot walking around in those uniforms/boots in Iraq. The kids were cute... hang on what was I supposed to be doing again?

The "war hero bit." I'm mostly joking, so when people take it seriously I feel shameful because I don't have to go through the rest of my life with just an arm left of all the limbs I had 2 years ago.

There are almost enough stars here to represent all of the Americans who have died in OEF and OIF combined.. but it actually is all of the American servicemen who died in world war two, because each star represents 100 people.

So yeah... it makes me uncomfortable.

Oh the vid reminds me of a story my Dad told me. He was driving a landing craft with a bunch of marines on board, doing a secret op - landed the guys, was captured by the Germans, then the Marines had to bust him out on their way back because none of them could drive the landing craft!
