I work in a department store for the Signing team. I get to change the signs when there's a sale. I like it because I hardly ever work weekends.

I'm a grocery store Cashier/Manager/Owner. I want to have a career in music one day, though.

I plan on being a Forensic Anthropologist.
I don't know the demand for that career field over in the UK, but I'll look it up.
If it seems hopeless, I'll go for something less extravigant like a Private Investigator. Of course, I have multiple back up plans, but I need to decide. I'm starting college soon, and I'd like to have everything worked out by the time I have all of my general education credits.
So I don't go and blow money on courses that do me absolutely no good.

I am a student at the moment, I am about to take a special 3-year basic IT course in order to gain access to further education. I want to be a graphic designer. I took a few courses already, so I know how to work the three basic programs, but I have about 5 years of education ahead of me.

My original plan was to go into medicine, but that seems... unlikely now. The competition is ridiculously fierce, and I don't think I'm up to par. I'll probably look into getting a Master's first. Or becoming a prize-fighting hobo. Either or.

I am a data systems guru. If it has a database, a network, SAN, fibre channel, Unix or Windows cluster and it breaks, I get to fix it. Fast. The job pays well, but now I am preparing to switch careers midlife and go into optics and photonics to make use of my laser skills which are rusting. The next wave after computers will be photonics, so I am preparing to hop when jobs like mine get outsourced. Specifically I want to specialize in Terahertz spectroscopy and THz imaging, so I may contribute to Homeland Security counter terrorism efforts.

Will you be my mentor? :P
Nah, but seriously mate, that sounds like an awesome line of work. I feel insignificant now :P But if you ever make some sort of world-changing program but need someone to design the logo or the box... feel free to yell! :P

I would be honored to be your mentor! But I must clarify: I am not a design engineer or developer, I do not create, I fix and maintain what has been deployed. "Technical Support" is the inglorious title.

Well, my infamous college job right now is a CSR at Blockbuster. Hell, get to watch all the movies I want, it's pretty laid back.
And I'm currently going to school as an English major, then get into the teaching credential program. I might minor in Psychology...I'd really rather major in Psychology. Forensic Psychologist, oh yeah.

Yeah, unfortunate I suppose =) I am gonna work with some very basic computer and stuff. Coding databases, writing HTML, using HTML editors, handling hardware and stuff like that. And then, of course, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. Those are what I am mainly gonna work with. So feel free to poke me if you need a signature made, a picture retouched or otherwise edited, invitations or other stuff made. I like to think that I am rather good at it =)

Me too... Sort of. I'm studying archaeology and anthropology. It's just a question of whether I eventually choose a focus on living people or dead people, and whether those dead people are recently deceased or ancient. I've got too many specific interests in a very broad field to make up my mind just yet.
My aim is to end up with a PhD and a career as an academic in whatever I choose to pursue.

I work at a fabric store, but only for three more days. Then I start working at an art supply store. Yay (no sarcasm)! I went to university for Fine Arts though, and am currently trying to sort myself out to start lifedrawing sessions and maybe some classical realism classes. The lifedrawing is really what's important, though, and I should really start that soon....

Main paying gig is surveying and cartography, legal examination of land and survey records. I teach dance and also do personal training and group fitness. Occasionally, I dance on the streets for money.

More like building new railways. Bit of a train geek, I am.
Can you get an MA in travel?

I live in a really small town. There is no place around here that's hiring, and we only own two cars.
I want to be a prosecutor.
This semester I'm taking a required writing course and general psych.
...At least if my father can get his head out of his ass enough to square away my financial aid. I know it should be my responsibility, but my parents are the ones who keep track of the paperwork. They've lost said paperwork.

No "should"- it IS your responsibility. And you have failed yourself by not stepping up. This bodes poorly for being a prosecutor.

What I do- I am currently unemployed and seeking work.
What I want to do - I want to become the Prime Minister or at least reach a suitably influential government post. Unfortunately, none of the parties are worth my attention at the moment- they're all corrupt, self-serving and deliberately ignorant.
This is my country. These are my people. It hurts and offends me to watch these bullies, sneakthieves and thugs in power as they insult and threaten me, my friends, my country and my planet.
Possessive, yes. Very. But it gives me the pride and hate I'll need to be able to oppose the people in power some day. I won't tolerate these others harming that which I love. I need a well paid job now so that I can save up enough to do parliamentary internships and gain solid political experience. With that, I have a chance of really getting in and making a difference.

I've been on them all week about it. And it's their tax forms anyway.
Edit: I just found out it was their tax forms.

I'm also currently unemployed, thankfully I do have a significant amount of savings so it isn't too much of a problem (it also doesn't hurt that my significant other is gainfully employed so for now he is paying for any non-essentials) and I do have a temporary position lined up at Howl-O-Scream as a leprechaun. As for what I want to do I actually have my application in for something pretty close to my idea job (the application pool is open until the end of the month and then they will start the interview process so for now all that I can do is wait), if I get it then I will be working for the city of Norfolk as a youth outreach worker. I have pretty high hopes that I will get the job as I exceed all of the requirements and I am rather passionate about youth violence prevention but I do have applications in for other jobs should this one not work out.
