You've been fairly predictable from the start. Nice try, though. I guess. Well, not really. But, hey. One lollipop for Lil' Miss Twit coming right up.

Not really Albert.

Let's be honest; you play little Sir Echo to everything I say (badly might I add), hoping that some frivolous ally will agree with your pathetic take and understanding about rational argument.

I know how internet forums work, or internet based communities in general.

I know that you'll always have the Pseudointellectual who, up to a certain point, has managed through sheer bluff and bombast to hoodwink a collective of morons into believing that they are well-read and versed in the areas that they profess to understand and love.

But honestly, it doesn't work on me.

Go back to trolling newbies and teenagers, you ameteur. You don't stand a chance against the likes of me.

And that's a promise.

(care to name any rare snakes you heard of on the natural history channel?)

Oh Yeah!?! King Cobras can Spit!

I dunno why R@pe is filtered... I imagine they would keep it from being threatened on another person, or generally keep the topic from appearing, for people whom are either disturbed by the idea or have been victimized before.

(As if anyone really feels threatened on an Online forum)

As a result of R A P E being censored, a whole wealth of Sylvia Plath poems would be interrupted by censorship.

That in itself is a testimony to the crime that censorship of language imposes on a forum.

Very true, I've never liked filters for the most part, I think that a variation of Forum Moderators and just general respect for the rules should suffice...

Exactly.

The word "R A P E" doesn't physically hurt someone. But photographs of a 4 year old girl sucking a 12 inch penis does physically hurt someone.

I agree with censorship regarding the moving and still image, since there is so much room for exploitation (paedophillia, *****, teenage porn in general) ... but language?

Language is one of those areas where it's up to you if you're insulted or hurt.

Sticks and stones may break your bones but words will never hurt you.

Froze in the middle of a rant. Bugger.
Anyhow, here's a digest:
1. It's pointed out that Tzuchinoko isn't real and that opponent can't even use Google right.
2. Protagonist mocks antagonist's gradual increase in the grammar/spelling after antagonist first spoke to protagonist. Protagonist also mocks antagonist's cluelessness and arrogance.
3. ???????
4. PROFIT!!!!!!!!

Nani? Que? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?

Cant you possibly take this argument somewhere else? I mean, come on, the man has a serious point that he wants someone to answer on.

It was a stupid question. But, hey. If you actually give a fuck, go ahead rebel against the evil of filters.

Its filtered because we don't want someone typing in "r@pe" into a search engine to come across gnet, not because the word is bad.

Everyone is using 4chan now.

It's a bit like "George Bush is stupid" jokes.

It's simply a way for stupid people to feel smart about absolutely nothing in particular.

Isn't this the second time you've tried to rebuke me with a well known and popular meme?

Tut... tut...

Not sure. The lost-in-the-mail post didn't have a meme, though. And I'm not sure how people "feel smart" about 4Chan, as it's pretty rubbish.

Quite easy to get a rise out of you, isn't it Albert?

Here you are saying how rubbish 4chan is, and yet you use it as an inspiration when it comes to throwing cheap rebukes.

Again, try a little harder.

No. It's rubbish as far as educational value. It's rather fun, though. And that reply was a cheap replacement for a better reply.

You didn't specify that.

As far as we could assume, it is purely rubbish according to you...

...not looking too good for you is it Albert?

If the best you can do is quibbling over a statement I made relating to 4Chan, then I'd say it's looking fine for me.

The filter was put in place while I was away from the boards so I don't know if there was ever a stated reason for it but I would assume that it is at least in part do to the admin's desire to not be the result of a search engine query for such a word. Though there was also an incident a while back where one member (who was quickly banned) was harassing/stalking another, including such things as saying that he was going to r/ape her and even going into detail about how he was going to do so, so that may have also factored in.

HOW TO APPEAR TO BE WINNING ARGUMENTS ALBERT MOND STYLE:

If you find that you are being beaten, you can create a diversion -that is, you can suddenly begin to talk of something else, as though it had a bearing on the matter in dispute.

This may be done without presumption if the diversion has some general bearing on the matter.

If your opponent has taken up a line of argument that will end in your defeat, you must not allow him to carry it to its conclusion.

Interrupt the dispute, break it off altogether, or lead the opponent to a different subject.

SEE YOU NEXT TIME!
