Exclamation Iron Maiden

Just curious about how many people out there are down for IRON MAIDEN?

Got most of their albums (with B. Dickinson, of course) and saw them live and met them. I usually hang out at Eddie's Bar when in the South of Portugal, where Steve Harris keeps a Summer house.

Howzat grab you? And what is this thread doing on Gothic.net?

Ahhhh, fuck it, I'd say the same about COF, anyway....

I'm just gonna go and listen to ABBA's Dancing Queen now.... :P

Iron Maiden = a classic metal band that kicks ass. What's not to love about that?

So, before I edit your post and make you look like a total moron, what are you going to do about disgusting people like me?

See? Nothing, that's what.

Tell you what: I'll just come back tomorrow. It's 8pm in Western Europe and I'm leaving work (meaning I couldn't possibly care any less).

I'll be very curious to see what this thread looks like in a few days.

Have fun...

p.s. I am a moderator on this site, so I AM IN CONTROL. Think about that one for a while.... Iron Maiden's gonna get you, no matter how far....

Yes, love Iron Maiden. Classic, sound decent, and -most importantly- they write about cool stuff: Out of the Silent Planet, Phantom of the Opera, Rime of the Ancient Mariner...
And that's just songs whose titles make the content obvious.

I prefer the Paul Di'anno era Maiden. But they're still a good laugh live

Paul Di'Anno? I'll stick to the Killers album as far as he's concerned. I don't like much on Iron Maiden's debut album (even accounting for poor sound quality in the recording).

And I admit to not paying much attention to anything that came out after Fear of the Dark (and that one was a stretch as well. I almost consider 7th Son...to be Maiden's last album).

Did you type how much you love Maiden in such little teeny tiny letters because your nick spells out Pink Floyd, or are you just embarassed?

It's OK, Bruce Dickinson finally got himself a non-embarassing haircut...

And it's quite alright to listen to Pink Floyd and Maiden...

Whoa! He's halfway there. Whoa oh! Sitting on his chair,
He knows it's tough but he can make it I swear,
Whoa oh! Sitting on his chair.

Sitting on a chair!

Ooooh, I think it's turning into anal rot, did you get me the cream?
"Oh no I forgot!"

Whoa! He's halfway there. Whoa oh! Sitting on his chair,
He knows it's tough but he can make it I swear,
Whoa oh! Sitting on his chair…
