I feel like Float was what Flogging Molly was supposed to sound like. Like that was the album where they perfected their sound and style.
Speed of Darkness seems like: "Okay, we did that, now lets go be awesome"
It's like, Float was where Goku went Supersayain and now he's wailing on Freeza.

I like all the albums but Float has something special to it. I saw them when they were touring in 2008 at a festival and I jumped around and sang along so loud I couldn't talk at the end of it. New album is fucking excellent, like they're pissing into the wind, as it's blowing back on them and they still walk away dry.
