I get aggressive on vodka. I'm usually a sentimental drunk, but vodka does something unpleasant - just doesn't work right on me.

My dad was the same - could hold plenty of booze and usually just got real happy and affectionate, but turned nasty on, bizarrely, white wine. I guess the girliness made his testosterone go into overdrive to compensate.

I've never got aggressive due to drink, I do however have the urge to nibble on people when I drink rum and wine of any kind makes me stupidly giggly and silly. Silly to the point of publicly humping a stone lion statue outside a Chinese restaurant in the middle of town

Don't you just hate that self-loathing in the morning when it all comes back to you? Not all at once - little drips & drabs, all over the day. Unless you just wake up moaning and clutching your head in your hands. When I was at college I woke up one morning with an email to one of my professors in the outbox on my still switched on computer, telling him he is what's wrong with the study of literature today and that a professor of United States literature who hasn't read Kurt Vonnegut is an embarrassment. (In fairness, I stand by this last point.) That was one fucking sucky hangover.

I wonder why this is? My brother has the same problem with vodka. Why do certain types of alchohol make some people agressive?

I have no idea. Different stuff just seems to affect some people in weird ways. I have a friend who gets really bitter and ranty when he drinks whiskey. Another who can drink a bottle of rum, but zeroes after a bottle and a half of red wine.

I am a lightweight but cn drink a fair amount of rum or vodka before I'm stumbling and slurring. Wine however... Ooof >.< 2 glasses of white or Rose ( has to be sweet or I physically cannot drink it ) and I begin to giggle and weave just a little.

I haven't noticed any agression though. But to be fair I rarely drink, and I tend to stick with what I know and like.

Drinking is fun, falling can be if you're drunk enough not to feel it, hangovers however SUCK more ass than airplane toilets. So does whiskey shits. Someone needs to make a cure for these ailments.

No dealing with the pain of falling the NEXT DAY sucks. I fell into firewood drunk, didn't feel a thing. The next day I felt like I had been ran over.
