Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

If you had a theme song...what would it be?
Mine would have to be "As We Speak" By Soilwork.
What would yours be?

I wouldn't know. It's not up to me to decide what my theme song is.
It's like making up a nickname for yourself. The endearment isn't nearly as real as the names people give you.

Dead is the New Alive by Emilie Autumn.
Or
Face to Face by Siouxsie and the Banshees

"Sexual Predator" by Bobby Cool and the Sluts.
Hah. Kidding.
Probably "Ballad of the Man" by the Virgin Prunes.

I'd have no idea where to even start. Lately, I'm feeling much like Martha by Tom Waits or Piano Man by Billy Joel. Even Dress Rehearsal Rag by Leonard Cohen works.
I'd say that other people are better at picking one's theme song though.

For you? Something by The Pixies or Tones on Tail. Those two bands remind me of you the most.
Hah. I'm gonna laughingly go with "Slender Fungus" by Tones on Tail. Because it has nothing to do with anyone at all except that we all loudly try to replicate the whole thing on car adventures. Hahaha.

"Sexual Predator" by Bobby Cool and the Sluts is pretty much the less subtle/more terrible version of that song. Hah. It sure is a catchy tune.
Thank god for Bobby Cool.

Yes, Slender Fungus should play every time I walk into a scene. Then I'll make a mock (so therefore serious) seventies face to whoever is there. Also known as, Magnum Steel.

Spiritual Cramp I would suppose. Well... more or less during my teen and childhood years than currently. I dunno what it would be right now.

I think it'd be a little section of Deadchovsky's Le Sandwichier Glauque de Mont - the part with the organ.
